This conversation does answer one question I had for awhile. Her boyfriend is Ukrainian, and I never did hear if he made it to America, or if he got stopped at the border.
They're not married, so I doubt he has a spousal visa. I wonder how all the politics of it work. Nothing personal. I'm just curious about the mechanics, lol.
Regardless, being Ukrainian refugees is rough, and I'm glad they're safe. I knew a lot of people evacuated, but I was worried that if her boyfriend was around the same age of Zepla, that he might have been drafted to stay back and fight. Guy is probably stoked to be chilling in a hotel and not in a war zone, lol.
