L death, you died because you had less than full health
That. Was awesome.
Also that happened cuz fall damage CAN kill you… if you're not at max health. Basically it caps at "your max health – 1"
So if a ladybug manages to hit you for at least 1 damage before or after the fall, you a very sad corpse
(Edit: see comments below. Apparently it has more to do with if you've aggro'd something by the time you land. I've just died enough times COINCIDENTALLY having enemies nearby that I thought above was how it worked. For literal years. -3- )
