There are certain circumstances where I hold fast and true to the “if I die, I die” school of thought, but generally speaking, if I see orange on the ground, I’m going to hit every button I possibly can to try and avoid the incoming pain.
That’s just me, though. I’m not sure where the wires got crossed with some other guys I’ve run dungeons with.
You know what. A lot of people are color blind. Some have it mild, while others are more severe. The way the AOEs flow on the ground, lots of them blend. Color blind people will lose the edges of the AOEs. They'll just waltz right into them. The colorblind settings are meh. It doesn't work very well. The borders on sone AOEs need to stand out more. That would slove a lot of people's problems. But make that an optional setting.
Me playing monk or dragoon knowing the exact timing that I can get away from the AOE with my abilities and get back to beating the boss in the least amount of time
I need a macro for moments like these that says, "Dear Healer, I'm in the middle of my burst cycle, my Arcane Crest is active, and I have Second Wind and Bloodbath ready to use. Please don't use Rescue or stop what you're doing to use your bandaids on me."
I was my Scholar healing in Everkeep EX, and they kept running in AoEs, and if the Healer doesn't kill me, they die. And they're like 'Emmah, do you know how to heal?' "YES I DO. IT'S JUST DIFFICULT WHHEN YOU ALL HAVE 5 STACKS IF VULNERABILITY, AND THE WHITE MAGE KEEPS RESCUING ME INTO THE AOE."
When you don't know the mechanics and you're in the middle of smth, then the boss marks the whole FCKIN area for an AOE, and you're like right in the middle of it…
I'm that DPS.
“Making my downtown…”😂
Oh goody my rescue is up naaah i ain't gonna save u ill let eos do the healing

Omg what is this song I swear I’ve heard it before
I like sticker collecting as a tank. It's the only thing that makes me feel alive at this point
I feel seen and heard! 😀

It's me, but I'm a healer. Sometimes I realize I'm not gonna move on time, so I just pop CDs and pray
I do savage so that I don't have to move in normal content. If my tank has 16 vuln stacks, it's fine. It also has bloodwhetting

It's me 😅🙃. I'm the drama 😢 I'm sowwy heals
They taste like orange pushpop.
But also, if i end up with 2 or 3 vuln stacks, let me drop and sit until convenient. I know i'm dumb and my brain sometimes goes, "Buttons go brrr"
AOEs are essentially angler fish. It attracts those would-be victims. And it works. 😆 🤣
