Honestly, a B or C plot about the restoration of the students could be a great way to introduce Mikoto into the main story imo, Considering she's a member of the students and have played major roles in previous side content like ivalice and bozja. Just like how G'raha was a side story (ala crystal tower) character prior to Shadowbringers. At least, that's how i would do it if i didn't want to make up completely new characters. And it would free up G'raha to adventure with us.

I have to agree. Even though I'm not a fellow G'raha enjoyer, the fact that they're leaving him behind makes actually no sense. This literally IS the big adventure that was talked about with him previously. Like. What? Did the voice actor have other obligations or something? This is such unaware writing, for lack of a better way to phrase it.

I think that scene was a red herring. Remember, G'raha was in the trailer eating a taco in the new world. I suspect he will find a way to come regardless

My prediction is that after ShB and EW he'll be taking sort of a backseat this expansion. He'll be there, but in aore secondary role like Tataru. I actually predict Y'shtola and perhaps Estinien will get the same treatment, since the last two xpacs were very scion-heavy and we need to lay a foundation for something new.
@0:27 I feel so bad for Erenville. He didnt sign up for spontaneous musical numbers…. Heck he didnt even sign up for any of this; he was literally dragged into the whole ordeal by tall cat lady over there.

My feelings exactly! He made us a promise! We did all that research on the New World together! We shared a quiet chat about the journey together (which coincidentally for me during my playthrough wound up being at night ❤)! And then he has to go and be his usual selfless self and dip out and have us babysit his little kinda/sorta sister! I love Krile (best lala, don't tell Tataru!) and was really excited for her to have a more prominent role in Dawntrail, but not at the cost of our favorite catboi!! 💔

Just to remind everyone…(and break some hearts) the next expansion pits the scions against each other.. and mysterious letter man did want archons. G'raha is an archon, so is Y'shtola soooooo…. the only cat on our adventures might be cat mommy.
