6. You should re-title it to 'wow streamers realise ffxiv isn't a joke despite ppl telling them for 5 years+'. It's hilarious the lvl of…delusion? stupidity? naivete? that wow players have to think that only blizzard can make a raid good or fun. I genuinely think that wow has damaged the expectations of players and how a game is played with all the boosting and tokens and shit.
   You don't play street fighter the same way you do tekken.

Rich and haru are the worst content creators of ff14, rich only forces his laughs, skip content to go as quick as possible to msq and haru is what everybody think of mentors, rich doesnt understand that asmon wants to get better, he doing it for content and for himself, asmon is getting better and better everyday, when he gets a clear chat cheers and gz him. While rich gets carried and bitch about it. Have fun the way you think its better for you, you dont like savage or ex content? Clear msq and be happy, just doenst complain after that the game doesnt have content.

12. Story is actually a tiny part of the game as a % of content. It's just an important part. the Story will only take you a few hundred hours to power through. But the crafting/gathering, raiding, housing, leveling, relic grinds, etc is what takes thousands of hours.

Welp, people like Xenos has successfully gaslit Rich into assuming people say "Min ilvl, no echo!" because they think that's the only way to get a "valid" clear of 2~3 expansion old content, and not the fact that it's super easy to miss entire mechanics or even phases and they think that their streamer who is obv. enjoying the game might like to see everything a fight has to offer.

23. I don't think rich gets why people are adamant about minilvl when it comes to story trials. It's not about proving anyone that you're better, we ask because we want streamers to experience all the parts in the fight along with the phases. Without minilvl, you get an incomplete picture of the fight.

The main thing with FFXIV vs WoW is that all the elements in FFXIV (the story, the content, etc) that are typically in other MMOs are all as good as it's other content, even the PvP (though WoW might feel more enjoyable for reaction based combat and melting people with gear). Everything feels connected in one world, nothing really feels added on for the sake of adding in something new. The fact Palace of the Dead (3.35?) is still a viable content piece to play through speaks to this. Willing to bet Torghast will only see the light of day during the current expansion.

    So although the story is very integral in having the world and the content connect, it's the fact every piece of that content has work put into it is what makes FFXIV enjoyable. As someone who hates grinding just one thing (levelling, crafting, etc) I love how deep I can get into each piece of content. I can spend 6 hours doing the story and enjoy it just as much as spending 6 hours doing chocobo races and breeding chocobo lol.
