  1. I'm a grown ass man and to this day I still tear up every time I hear the first few bars of Flow. No video game has ever evoked such an emotional response from me. Hurt. Loss. Joy. Forgiveness. This game shows you how to endure despair and still find the courage to take the next step. It's the best video game I've ever played.

  2. If Lia likes something, I already assume it’s degenerate. If it’s her favorite thing of all time, I don’t even have to watch the video to confirm that assumption.

Someone just timestamp in my replies where she mentions incest.

  3. I don’t think Lia stressed how much you need to have the background information of the previous expansions to really enjoy later expansions. Endwalker changed my life, but it wouldn’t have had that experience if I hadn’t had walked through Eorzea and seen, heard and felt all of the stories along the way. And I don’t think I’d have completely the same feel if I didn’t think back to slogging through A Realm Reborn, and the elation of getting through it and seeing the gates of Ishgard… so don’t skip if you can, because if you can tolerate or enjoy FF14 at its lowest, you’ll truly feel the emotions at its peaks.

  4. ARR is like sitting in a class you hate boring you to death. But when you finally get it you realise it's actually important and even change the way you see the world. It's what I also love about Vanilla/Classic WoW, the world building is fantastic, even if the world and story are just a million different NPCs and locations with stories you have no context for…yet. Getting invested in the story then really pays off when you finally get to see all these places referred and see their problems for yourself. Doing all the job quests really brings the world alive too, they put so much effort into all the stories.

  6. Ok real talk. Yes ARR is a bit of a drag, but it has to be done. It does a lot of world building for the player even though it feels like a drag. ARR is a lot better now after story compression. For all new players, just hang in there, you'll know when peak begins when it begins 😉
