Final Fantasy XIV is a very well constructed MMORPG, with a beginning levelling experience that surpasses any other MMO on the market. That doesn’t mean that I don’t have any complaints however…

Final Fantasy XIV is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) developed and published by Square Enix. Directed and produced by Naoki Yoshida, it was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 3 in August 2013, as a replacement for the failed 2010 version of the game, with support for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and macOS releasing later. Final Fantasy XIV takes place in the fictional land of Eorzea, five years after the events of the original 2010 release. At the conclusion of the original game, the primal dragon Bahamut escapes from its lunar prison to initiate the Seventh Umbral Calamity, an apocalyptic event which destroys much of Eorzea. Through the gods’ blessing, the player character escapes the devastation by time traveling five years into the future. As Eorzea recovers and rebuilds, the player must deal with the impending threat of invasion by the Garlean Empire from the north.

More about Final Fantasy XIV:
“Final Fantasy XIV is an MMORPG and features a persistent world in which players can interact with each other and the environment. Players create and customize their characters for use in the game, including name, race, gender, facial features, and starting class. Unlike in the original release, players may only choose to be a Disciple of War or Magic as a starting class—Disciples of the Hand and Land are initially unavailable. Players must also select a game server for characters to exist on. While servers are not explicitly delineated by language, data centers have been placed in the supported regions (i.e., North America, Europe, Japan) to improve the communication latency between the server and the client computer and players are recommended to choose a server in their region. Regardless of server or language, the game features a large library of automatically translated game terms and general phrases which allow players who speak different languages to communicate.”

Jocat and Shenpai are loving treasures in this game and beyond.
What his D&D guides. He is a hilarious guy.
This guy reminded me of the Cinema Sins channel for movies.
Too funny. I agree you should watch the Healer one next.
Your reactions seem fake and way over the top. No body acts like this in reality.
Who haven't done the mistake of put the enmity buff? Me, 100 % that never happened to me. Why? Because back in Cataclysm in firelands me, a paladin tank, every once in a while i forgot to put my aggro buff for months or trys and i got shit from it for years, even tl this days those guy remainds me that so yeah that never happened to me im 14 lol
Fun fact, warrior invuln is actually on par with hallowed ground if not better than it, because its got the lowest cooldown of all invulns, and in savage raids they can actually use that to cheese tank busters more often than any other tank. For instance, if tank busters normally require a tank swap to survive properly, you can invuln them. Now imagine there are 4 tank busters in a savage fight. If the warrior pulls first, they can holmgang the first TB, the other tank switches, takes the second TB with their invuln later in the fight, then you tank swap again, and holm will be off cooldown by the time the next TB is going off, where other tanks in their shoes would not have it back by then and would have to tank swap for the buster properly.
Also i do agree drk invuln is garbage compared to the rest, but you dont actually need bene from a whm to survive it and heres why. The way it works is not that when you get the debuff you need to be healed to full health, its that you need your max health amount of healing. Let me explain. If you for example have 1000 max health. You use living dead, take lethal damage, and now have the walking dead debuff. Sure your whm could bene and youre back to 1000 health and debuff drops. However you can also lose the debuff by simply being healed for 1000 health during the debuff over the course of multiple heals. This means that for instance, if you get healed for 500 health (disregarding the 1 health that youre currently at for simple math purposes), then take an attack that does 250 health leaving you at 250 health currently, then receive another 500 health heal, you would be at 750/1000 health, but you would lose walking dead debuff and be good to go. This is because you received healing equaling your max hp. You had two 500 health heals totaling your max 1000 hp, despite not currently being at max health. Its a little detail thats not exactly straight forward but it is nice because it means that healers can panic just a little less when walking dead pops up
loved this vid!.. pls watch the others too!
Ahahahha! JoCat is life.
Also that set he's wearing is the Moonfire Faire summer outfit from 2019 I believe – except the Chubby Chocobo head piece. XD
I’ll have my tank stance on in a 2 tank party once they establish the hate. Just in the off chance that if something happens to them, I’m automatically number two on the list. If it gets to the point where it looks like I’m gonna take over I’ll switch it off for a bit tho.
So usually what happens is every time I go into one the other check never even checks they just charge him even though they may be significantly under lgeared and I’ve got 3000 HP more than they do. But it’s whatever. I’m adaptable.
I have played FFXIV since 2.0 and been a tank main since 4.0 and I still enter dungeons and forget to put stance on.
Learning the healer role back in the day was pretty rough. So many trials and errors to really get the role down to where you’re efficient enough to keep your party alive in higher level content…not to mention all of the nasty hate that you get as a newbie healer. The role definitely isn’t for someone who’s sensitive to mean comments that’s for sure lmao.
I would commit war crimes just to have Zero's dress added into ffxiv
I always feel insulted in my sch pride when people say I can't heal living dead lol
What is a tank stance i was playing in 2015 was tank stance a thing back then there was as ability that gave me emnity i did not know what tank stance is
As a healer I will immediately notice and say something when the tank doesn't have tank stance on. I'm not trying to be rude when I do it, just a gentle reminder. Hopefully y'all don't mind that but I don't like getting hit lol
He's wearing lv 63 tanking gear, which is the closest he can get to the Kirin armor.
Unless there's a mechanic involved like tank swapping, I leave tank stance on & fight over enmity. Some tanks (delineated by both class & player) are better at building & holding enmity, & I'm always prepped & ready to take over assuming I don't already have it.
Dark knight living dead if used right is actually the best one. 10s to die. Then living dead for another 10s Basically you have a potential 20s invul. But realistically it’s more like 15.
to be fair, when you land in a lower lvl roulette, the tank stance is turned off as you enter.
I should point out another time when it's the tank's fault for a wipe:
When the tank is wearing gear for other jobs and/or wearing gear that should've been replaced like 10 levels ago.
If the BLM has more HP than the WAR, you know there's something wrong.
They're automatically off when you start a dungeon, so it takes some getting used to.
This actually makes me feel better about eventually trying to tank. Done DPS, done healing (which I enjoy most) sometime I will have to try and tank I suppose..maybe..not today.
