  3. And so we finally reach the end of the Hydaelyn and Zodiark arc, a very long journey that has been planned since ARR. Thank you to whoever uploaded this playthrough on Jesse's vod channel. Jesse has come a long way since from the time of the cooptional podcast when Dodger was the one who was pitching FFXIV to him. I'm glad Jesse gave this game a second try and stuck with it till the very end.

    1:40 Amazing boss design. Never expected that we would be fighting hopelessness incarnate when we began this expansion yet here we are
    8:15 Enter your enemy, and your friend. When he said to the WoL "But why does it still live? Surely it is no match for you." like Jesse, I paused for a moment and laughed. Yes, Zenos would say something like that in front of Meteion's face

    22:51 Glad that at least someone already fought her before. At least Jesse's wings did look pretty
    24:11 Such an amazing rendition of Maker's Ruin. It's basically the WoL's theme song being played in the fight now instead of the boss'. Seeing the light of hope pushing back against the wave of despair in the background is a great visual display
    35:54 As much as I am grateful for Zenos aid during this fight, he DID make us miss our ride home (Meteion). In the end at least he made it so that his wish helped us return back to Scions in one piece. The dialog in 1:57:38 may or may not confirm this

  5. I've done Zeno's fight twice, first time on Red Mage (Somehow i always end up loving the same classes as Jesse for caster) and second on Reaper. Red Mage SUCKED! I used all my attempts and had to do it a second time. Was so much easier on reaper with the movement abilities it has to escape stuff quickly.
