btw did you noticed, the pose of ryne dressed as hydaelyn as she shatter the ground? the same pose of hydaelyn shattering the ascian's world..
did you see that also shattered into different platforms?, and that crystal was hydaelyn, with 13 crystals around, just like the 13 shards

LORE TIME: When Ryne is using the Light dress, she's actually becoming Hydaelyn. The golden structures on her back are identical to Hydaelyn's. And she was trying to bring another Flood of Light.

When she does the "Hydaelyn Kick" the stage is split into 14 just like the Source was. You can see other shards all around.
Everyone's talking about light rampant because the simple aoe you get in normal becomes a party killer in savage when you mess up the orbs.

YES! I fucking love this fight, it grows on you the more you get to know it. Also. Damn BLM mains really do have it rough huh XD
the "Light Rampant' that everyone talks about being stupidly insane is the Savage version, which is more akin to a ballet, and looks like poetry in motion when done properly, and is trauma inducing with the sound of glass breaking, if 1 person fails a part of the mechanic, everyone dies.
When Hydaelyn Ryne steps on the party it mirrors the depiction of Hydaelyn defeating Zodiark, from back in Quitana Ravel.
Still one of the most fun fights. I recommend trying all of the fights as tank as well. It's so much fun 😂
