    Tell me Jesse, honestly. How many times were you genuinely asked, in game, if all the shit you've gone through, from 2.0 all the way to 6.0, was worth it?
    How many NPCs, MSQ or otherwise, cared about HOW you're feeling, rather than just tossing you at the next objective with rhetoric and hyperbole?
    (More than just a "Are you alright? Yes? Good! Now go do that!")

    I think that's why it makes you emotional. It's the first time, in the game, that someone is genuinely wondering if all the pain and effort you've been through was worth it. That, and it also can feel like she's asking you, the player, that question. Not just your character.

  4. 6:32 I guess Jesse is still trying to piece things together despite the game nudging him in the direction he should be going. His answer in 2:04:59 reaffirms this

    39:12 I don't know if Eric planned this far ahead in the Sunfall Cycle, but it's cool his character shares the same name as a memory configuration device in FFXIV considering what his role was before he came a permanent member
