  1. I'm bitter about the fridge. I had to sell my foot scales to a shady duskwight in Limsa just so I could keep the fridge open. Now I have no fridge to keep open. Even my FC room is empty….devoid of everything that made it home. It all belongs to Jeff Bezos now.

  2. I think what kinda bites is Rich talking about the end of MSQ as "the end", as if there's no more FF14 to play when it's over, when throughout his time with the previous expansions, he was always like: "man, I can't wait to be done with MSQ, so I can do the MMO part of the game". But in the end, he's only really interested in the MSQ and ultimates , and none of the content inbetween. There are 24-man raids he could do, if not for the challenge, then for the story. And there are still plenty of savage raids which, when done unsynced, are still a challenge and have some amazing moments.

But I've seen enough Rich to see that he's, currently at least, not a one-game sorta guy. And that's fine, and I DO want to see him play certain other games; but it's just disappointing too because he really made it sound like he was going to be engaging with FF14 a lot more outside of the MSQ and the Ultimates (of which he only has one that's still incomplete, so content there will be limited too).

I'd love to see him do EW's role quests, as well as its finale, the 6.1 MSQ, the Pandaemonium raids, and the Aglaia alliance raid. They're all extremely juicy lore-wise, which he would love. I know some people find it annoying, but I really enjoy hearing him theorize on the spot, and seeing how much of those pan out. Whether he guesses correctly or incorrectly, it's still entertaining.

And when he's in the mood for some mindless grinding, there's plenty of that in FF14 too with zones like Eureka and Bozja (which also have their own story, so even here there's lore attached).
