ahh trust me guys if you actually have the software it is sooo much better ! I am using it for month now and I am absolutly astonishd the effectsa re so real. It is so hard to actually show it with just a video cuz so much stuff is missing!
Oh neat! I'm excited to try it out with Early Access! I started to play with the Software with my Logitech Pro X and already I found it a MASSIVE improvement in Apex Legends. I never liked the built-in equalizer Logitech did for the game but what the Immerse Gaming: Logitech version provided sounded really nice.
I assume this will purely affect sfx / sound effects that have a 'position' or source in the world, but leaves background music unaffected and unaltered?
The new "immerse off" option makes it sound much better than the last video! Awesome.
Similar to the other demo, this is objectively terrible. If you are using headphones which have any soundstage whatsoever, the "Immerse On" section of the demo sounds narrow, flat and tinny. The spatiality of the vanilla audio in this demo is far better than the product being demonstrated. It appears that the stage may be artifically limited to allow for effects that could potentially occur farther away from the character.
Before the canned response of "It needs to be tuned to your ears" comes, that is simply not the case here. Yes, the accuracy of the spatial effect does need to be tuned, but this is not what results in the narrowing effect on show here. There are many HRTF demos available here on Youtube, go listen to them, they do not have this narrowing of the sound resulting in a poor listening experience. From a company who's sole focus is audio, there should be a clear understanding of this and a large catalogue of auditioning gear available to test the quality of these demos before putting them out to the public.
The only way I can imagine that the personalisation of the software results in this kind of sound quality is if you tuned them using low quality headphones or with a subject who is hard of hearing.
I'm ready. I've got a pair of Beyerdynamic DT 1990 Pro Open-Back Studio Reference Headphones and I'm stoked. Seriously, please release the software. Where do we send a picture of our ear to? Let's get this ball rolling! Endwalker SOON!
Youtube doesn't support multi-channel (i.e. 3 channels+) audio though so any spatial data wont be available? (I have the software but none of the Youtube demos seem to work with it, the test tones on the other hand..)
I definitely pick up more of the quieter audio detail with it turned on. However, there is a noticeable phasing-like effect and some loss of brightness on the top end. I'm curious what this sounds like after the settings have been personalized.
im looking forward for the free trial! i feel there is much more detail of the sound on the immerse on mode ….
Immersive gamepack audio is now released and ready for download! Right now they are offering it for a reduced price as well! Got it for like 17 bucks. Installing and using the app to submit a picture of my ear was super easy. Looks like you can do it up to 4-5 times. Setting it up was a breeze. I can't wait to try this out. I hope it rocks. Thanks Embody ♥
I will reserve judgement until I actually test this in-game but my main problem with these types of 3D audio programs is they almost always lower the quality of the sound. The positional effects are real impressive but the drop in clarity is always bad. Maybe this is just youtube doing youtube things with the audio quality, but I really hope this works like it is intended without any quality loss because I love 3D audio in games.
It honestly just sounds like a bass boosted EQ that you have to pay for.
Is it supportive for windows 11? I read its just windows 10 atm, but does it still work perhaps? or do we got to wait a bit more.
