Fun fact about the Moogle trial. It's a trial from 1.0. In 1.0 they were gonna release Leviathan, but then the tsunami struck. So instead of potentially traumatizing players they made and released Good King Moogle Mog as a fun fight.
That king moogle trial guess is pretty much how it went lmao.

I always forget Crysalis exists until I get it in trial or mentor roulette. Then all the bad memories of trying to do that fight with my FC when it first launched come back, and then I get traumatized all over again. If you've heard the tales of people noping out of Steps of Faith because it was hard at release, people did here as well. (My particular group would get 2 3 lbs before the Tear at launch, and the first one we ALWAYS had to end up using on healer lb3.) There's a reason they nerfed this fight.
I thought this back when I watched your "So I Played" video, and I still do, but I find it fascinating that the newer players will find enjoyment in Steps of Faith thanks to the TWO nerfs that they gave it. And I don't mean that in a condescending way, I am legitimately happy that people don't have to become traumatized by that fight like I was.
I like Lakshmi, but that's mostly because of her design and music. I can freely admit that the story trial is kinda boring, especially when compared to the Extreme which is a lot more involved.
Shinryu is the final traumatizing fight for me having done it at launch. It's not NEARLY as bad anymore unless you're full of sprouts with low 70 gear, but it still pains me from how hard it was back then. (And as far as a disappointing end to Stormblood, it gets even worse considering that Zenos doesn't even stay freaking dead, making it completely pointless.)
I like Titania mostly because it's a humongous reference to William Shakespeare's, A Midsummer Night's Dream. She can also cause a few wipes with new players (mostly due to the adds), but yeah.
Okay, good. I was about to shank if you didn't put Seat of Sacrifice in S tier. It may not be my favorite due to personal taste, but it IS the BEST trial in the goddamn game! (Made even better by the fact that he can make your LB pointless if you time it wrong.)
