  1. The only thing that bugging me it’s people are become obsessed with gearing when FF14 made to have fun. Not worry about how much power your making that’s a WoW mentality we’re WoW all about power & grinding for it…

  2. It has been obvious Brian has been tired of FF lately I am glad you have decided to focus on something else. I have felt the same way with games and I get cranky if I feel like I have to play a certain game like with fortnite or valorant. My cousin wants to play those and doesn't really try new games but I want to play with him, but I can get super pissy if I play those too much. So I definitely understand needing to get away from a game.

  3. It is always good to take breaks from mmos. Even long ones I play 14 for story. Wait til you see something that catches your eye. I stopped playing wow seriously in wraith. Popped in of an on until legion really got my attention. Played til my daughter was born then. Stopped again yet to go back. I started 14 while I was on covid leave.

  4. I'm glad Brian is leaving XIV behind. Good for him, and good for viewers like me since his takes always make me roll my eyes. He wants the game to be something it's not in so many ways that would likely ruin my enjoyment were they to take his feedback, especially regarding how the game delivers content and rewards. He has reached his limit of frustration that the game isn't (or maybe never has?) catered to him.

Hope you have fun in New World buddy. It bored me to tears every time I've tried it, but it seems to scratch whatever itch you've got.

  5. regarding criterion loot i think it would have been fine if you could get the items to augment your tome gear, maybe make it limited to once a week. I think its hard enough that gaining ilvl from it would be fair and you'd still have to do savage to get bis. I'm having fun with it so far but i think the 3rd boss has too much 1 person makes a mistake = wipe, its made it a bit more frustrating in PF
