  1. The disappearing lala exactly timed with what I can only assume is a desk pounding noise… right after having said you needed to throw something… RIP lala. (Intended or not, that was hilarious and I love it.)

"I just got to know him, and of course I liked him." I'm not sure how often you go back and check out your own older videos, but… Episode 3, eight minutes and 23 seconds in. Farewell, Meffrid. /salute

    And yes: Welcome to Stormblood.

  2. The villains are definitely a high point in Stormblood. I think the reason a lot of people don't like it is because the conflicts are more "human" than supernatural like Heavensward was. Can't really go into more without spoiling but I think it still holds up if you appreciate it for what it is.

  3. Nobody reads Arms length in its entirety. 🤦
It also gives 20% slow to every enemy that hits you. Slow means they’ll hit you less. It’s an important mitigation tool!

  4. Zenos just came to Ala Mhigo on a vacation. He even took his golf bag with him for sport. Because that’s what we are to him, just boring sport.

  5. Woohoo! Kicked Erle! Andddd got a Zenos reality check. Dont listen to the naysayers and let yourself just experience Stormblood for what it is. 🙂 It definitely has a loyal following as an expansion, with a lot of great characters introduced!

  6. I think the thing about Stormblood is that after the literally lofty heights of Heavensward, this is a reality check. This is nothing but a Bloody, brutal war you must endure.
Your heroics as the warrior of light mean less than nothing to the sheer force you are up against.

    But you must press on.
    For those we have lost.
For those we may yet save.

For those whom we shall keep hydrated. 😉

  7. These episodes keep getting better. There's a reason you're gaining hundreds (soon to be thousands) of subs.

That reason is the stickers and your beautiful artwork…. and the good content lol.

  8. Just because SB is most people’s least favorite expansion(mine included), doesn’t mean it’s bad. It just means one of them has to be last place. That being said, Zenos is a great villain and you’ll be seeing him a lot.

  9. When people say that Stormblood is there least favourite expansion, it does not mean that it isnt good, just it isnt as good as the others, which considering the praise the rest get, its still quite high praise

  10. The music in Stormblood is so good and Zenos is such a brilliant villain, I love him more than I hate him even though he's a giant pain in the ass (lol)! Also, fun fact, if you're playing as a healer Krile will prompt you to help heal Y'shotla with her and you actually end up doing that.
10:09 "Am I not the wounded, though? I fought that abomination. When do I get to rest???" fucking killed me lmao
I also got so attached to the characters in Stormblood. It's not "fun" because you're lulled into this false sense of security and then you really see that you're dealing with imperialism, war, real loss, and more, and I love it so much even if it hurts. I completely get what you mean about being sad and excited at the same time.
RIP Meffrid, what a bro. 😢

  11. I actually really like Stormblood, I think there are a few things that could make it better, but I really enjoyed it. Also the shot you cut to when you prayed over Meffrid was really good. For a second I thought it was a cutscene starting up.

  12. 4:42 — Well, he did say last time that he doesnt like sending underlings into the frey instead of joining them… If anything, he's consequent…

11:08 — People arent genuine when it comes to Stormblood. Its the expansation situated between two absolute banger expansions, Heavensward and Shadowbringers (the later arguably the best expansion to this point), and Stormblood also "suffers" because this is the expansion where our character is a side character: others take the spotlight, and the cause is more important than we are – we just join in. People forget, that Stormblood was the expansion with major directional changes to the game, starting with job design, and that from now on FF14 finds its footing regarding dungeon- and raid design. – Also that "Thewy Youth" you see there kneeling with Meffrid, thats the guy from Ala Ghanna that you recruited, the one who first talked s**t to Lyse.

  13. Grats on that Erle kick! If there are enough people on the map, you could shout the coordinates and others could help you beat those high ranks up (In case it's blocking you or just want revenge)😆 Glad you found the thing you like about stormblood this early too! Mine took a while so I used the time studying other parts of the game which was worth it lol Stormblood is that kind of expansion I guess.

  14. Meh, Zenos' fight is sadly scripted. I kicked his tin-can backside, my warrior was at full 100%, Zenos was down to 50%, sure he's sturdier then several other opponents.. And then the game decided "Now I will give the win to Zenos, despite you kicking his blonde backside easily".. Ah well.
