I did this yesterday and at 9:12 part I was like "So who are these 2 dudes in armor, should I know them?"
and then you learn that ability, "The Blackest Night"
In your darkest hour, in your blackest night….
I have been doing the role quest, have finish 3 one more to go and and can then finish the msq of shadowbringers.
Fun fact: Frays full name is Fray Myste in the game files. Do with that information as you will 😉
Fray is basically the part of your WoL who is sick and tired of being a tool to everyone, while Myste is the guilt of the people who Wol lost, be it foe or friend. Myste looks like that because Haurchefant and Ysayle's deaths broke WoL the most. By 'forgiving yourself' you made your WoL whole again.
Edit: And this is why people say "DRK story is about love". I know it sounds like complete nonsense it's supposed to be edgy, which it also is, but this is it. This and another quest is the ultimate proof to that statement.
"In your darkest hour, in THE BLACKEST NIGHT, think of me and I will be with you"
New skill: THE BLACKEST NIGHT
Personally do you feel any regrets for anyone you yourself killed or friends lost during the story? Not what the scripted scenes as the Warrior of Light but personally. Dark Knight may have confusing moments but it really explores the extent of our own grievances, suffering and bevel triumphs not just as a Dark Knight but whatever we’ve done besides.
