So fun fact, Gyascutus's fight is probably the one that's had the most heavy revision in the last patch. The first fight and Nidhogg's were also updated, but that second Aery fight had the biggest changes and it's definitely the most mechanically heavy of them. I think it's one of my favorite revised dungeon bosses.
The original idea behind the boss involved lots of poison smoke and bombs that would eat the smoke that you had to eventually kill, so the revision has him spewing flammable fumes and wherever the fume circles are light up as well as the normal aoe markers. Sometimes the empty spots can be kind of tough to spot admittedly.
Edit: That small part where you asked if you were meant to stack for Nidhogg's ultimate attack- you weren't intended to there, no. But if you and your whole party are all gathered together, it's easier for healers to do party-wide healing, because if you're far enough away from them, then their healing won't reach you, and they'll have to spend extra time doing focused healing on you since you didn't get healed by the aoe heal, so stacking for heals during raid wides can still be a helpful tactic.
Also, I have noticed that occasionally you use Peloton mid-combat, but unfortunately, it only works outside combat.
Finally!!! The 2nd boss and nidhogg fight have been changed. Completely changed. I'm happy! The mechanics have been added to it! Love the changes that the dev team did. From here, the story climbs. Soon, you'll be for a treat.
New episode, sweet
time for some Emotional Vampirism hue hue hue hue
the vault is the last dungeon with trust system until they update it in 6.3 in january
if you dont know where to go, follow the trust system allies. they always avoid aoes
his armor is covered in blood i think
Fun video! Thanks for the quality video.
I love Haurchefant's voice, he's always so joyful and sincere. Best boy hands down
The moment you yelled at the NPC tank, I knew you were truly one of us.
after all these year, now I'm being remembered as to why we love Haurchefant so much
A neat little detail. You have the one knight who hung up his shield to serve ale instead of rule, and in Ishgard the tavern is named "The Forgotten Knight".
