  1. Or, and here me out, DPS need to git good. If you’re hitting up against enrage timers, it’s because:

    1) The DPS don’t know the mechanics and are dying or getting damage rebuffs too many times.

    2) The DPS just aren’t adequately geared for the encounter and aren’t using food buffs, potions, and/or materia overmelds.

    3) The DPS don’t know their classes proper damage rotations and aren’t optimizing burst windows and raid-wide damage buffs.

    I can guarantee you $500 USD right now that in an 8-man Raid, combined healer damage will NOT exceed 5-7% of the total damage done. It’s just not THAT important.
