Weekly caps are the entire reason I stopped playing. I’d rather play other repetitive games that don’t charge me to limit my progression. The system feels like a sham. I don’t wanna hear any “oh they do this for balance so the players can’t get op before the world first yada yada” I’ve heard that so many times yet every time it is a stupid argument. World first happened already, the tomes should be uncapped immediately after. Destiny (terrible game btw) gives every player a notification for the world first completion, and while it has weekly rewards, you can farm the content for higher level gear instead of farming it “for the experience of playing the game”
