I’ve played WoW before but never focused on the story. I’ve always been rushed through content to get to dungeons with friends. So it’s like I’m a completely new player experiencing the WoW universe with fresh eyes.

WoW 100% has a story, it is very long and filled with a heap of side quests.
Whoever told you WoW has no story has never played wow or warcraft.
