Unless the price is changing from 6.05 the purple scrips you need per book for Master Recipes should be 1200 each

Honestly been listening to your videos as I prepare for the patch next week and have to say these vids have been pretty informative! Seeing all of it now has me doing my own planning as wells some small goals to do so thank you and keep it up!
You can still craft the lv 81-90 items for scripts, if you have left over materials. Its also easier to craft them for purple due to trained eye.
After I craft my own battle gear for my primary job, I may dump extra mats on the MB rather than engage in undercutting PvP on the finished goods.
I don’t want to spend hours crafting and selling when I could be raiding.
For purple scrips I personally have been crafting lv90 culinarian collectable and lv89 alchemist collectable. The materials are super easy to gather/purchase and can complete the crafts in less than 10 seconds with trained eye and a few groundworks.
crafting rotations for the new items on patch day would be great too.
Finally got all the folklore tomes, man getting purple scrips was annoying on gatherer. Mostly because I’m not a fisher main and had to fish to make basically any progress. Now working on getting materia ready for melding for crafter.
an extra point, for people who have time and patience, is to craft at least 30 of each premat (there are 5 per job, for example: Acacia Lumber or Black Star ), we won't need them all, but at least it will be one less thing to do since it takes time to craft those
Why do people do the alchemy scrips? they are the worse plus you will need the tumbleweed for the gemsaps that are going to be needed

If you are stockpiling and selling the legendary materials, is it worth to sell them now? Or will there be a price hike morning of Patch 7.05?
I disagree on the pre-crafts. I think in addition to the possible price hike on the 96 and 98 pre-crafts (especially for HQ mats), there's also a huge benefit to having large stacks of HQ mats to make doing the new stuff a bit easier.

For those hoping to profit, try to be online when the patch goes live. For each release during EW, the prices dropped fairly quickly due to the number of people stockpiling to make profit as well as all of them undercutting each other. I realized that I would have made more by just selling everything the day before the patch.

Why not blacksmith for purple scrips, doesn't require bicolor gem stones at all
Can confirm that both CUL Purp and OJ scrip collectables are the easiest ones to make. They have the least amount of required items. You only need to craft one item for the prep on them, too.
One thing I'm not sure of: Do we need OJ Gatherer scrips for anything other than materia?
Endwalker was white scrips the lesser color so dawntrail will be purple scrips orange is for the five materials for culinary recipes for raiders. Good clue WAS gathering used purple scrips for folklore books. And most likely will be 1200 each book but they could increase it too 1600 but not likely.
