So I did some Savage raiding over the past few weeks, and it’s been a heck of an experience so far. I haven’t beaten the whole thing yet, but I’ve got a fair few amount of attempts underneath my belt, and I felt like sharing a few of my initial thoughts of it so far.

I play since shb, and endwalker is my first savage too.
Congrats for p2s clear and good luck on p3s, that bird is very spicy and tigh on dps check.
Tips, p3s is about position and dps check, so skill rotation will help max damage.
And watch for it balls! Both big and small, red and black

man this is pretty cool from the jump to hey i just started ffxiv to now im doing challenging endgame content. I cant wait to hear about how you will get this teir cleared and heads up p4s is more challenging so i cant wait to hear about the clear keep doing your thing!

4:40 actually not everything else, just not as noticeable. for example theres small black edges around the arena, the distance between those is half of a devouring brand, devouring brand always starting north south west east will consume both of them and then extend, extend outward to the first black edge on the ground that is, thats your indicator for a safespot. just be right of it.

Most good statics will funnel gear to their dps first if tanks and healers can deal with the damage mechanics, it helps a lot with dps checks within the first few weeks of the raid lease.

The chicken fight feels really long for most people because of the add phase (my static calls it "big fat birbs"). The arena floor indicators are really awesome, I love being able to taking 1 step and avoiding an aoe.

I would have loved to have seen a playthrough of Endwalker like you did with Shadowbringers. I bet the story broke you, especially when a certain somebody met another certain somebody's parents. That broke a lot of people.
This was my first savage tier as well, I agree it’s super fun to do. Though I don’t like the loot system since like you said, you don’t get anything if you are unlucky. It would suck to wait like 4 weeks for a piece of gear
For what its worth, I was able to beat this tier through pubs a few weeks ago. Would say the biggest hurdle was P3S…

Definitely recommend checking out savages from older content if you get a good group. There's some really neat fights you can choose how to approach (min ilvl etc) and really nice rewards too

Dear Lucron’s videos are always a joy to watch. The sense of humor is perfect in every way. It even manages to take the sting out of the hardest (ultimate not included) and most frustrating game content.
For myself, I haven’t made it past P1S. But hey, it’s Savage, it’s not supposed to be easy. 
The toughest part might actually be, the other players. The margin for error on the mechanics isn’t big and it does demand synchronisation. So take your chill pills arm yourself with patience, and get started! Practice makes perfect. Apparently….
