The Heroes' Gauntlet was crazy but what's even crazier is how it was actually foreshadowing parts of Endwalker where basically everyone who is at least a bit important to the story you've met played a role. Even ten of the primals show up to help launch Ragnorok, much to Garuda's chagrin and Susanoo's enjoyment.
Don't forget the nod to Hildy having the echo, as one of the summoned shades in Heroes Gauntlet. Too funny.
