  10. 7:17 Put a pin in that one. It will come back during the series of trials later.

    As a heads up, each expansion has two sets of trials. One set is part of MSQ, while the other is content that comes after MSQ as filler between expansions. Each trial drops a themed mount (ARR was ponies, HW is falcons) that all give off a particle effect and play the music of the trial you got it from. Getting all of these unlocks a special mount that is even more fancy.

  14. to answer your question why Estinien turned into Nidhogg. There is a theory that not because Estinien was chill for a brief moment, it's because this is probably the first time he got 2 eyes together. He always carries 1 eye previously but not 2 eyes at the same time (because the second eye was in the coffin of the first Dragoon).

    So the theory states that Estinien, even though is strong, cannot withstand the influence of both eyes of a mighty legendary wyrm, thus converting him into a new entity.

    Of course you can interpret the scene however you like, ^__^, I just wanna share what I got from multiple theorycrafters XD

And it's ok to be emotional <3, this game's story is extremely well written and many times it talks to raw emotions inside of us, that we all feel at some point in life. I think the more life "happened" to you, the more you're susceptible to tear up and understand though. I think you're going to love what's coming !

  22. The pokebal, optimus prime, soyboys moment XD I think leveling or doing ex mount farm could be nice for streaming, not stressful. I can't wait to see you do the 8 players raids and alliances raids of HW, really recommend doing them before starting Stormblood (you still have time witht he HW patches). Also as a tip, you can use /p to talk to your party and /a to talk to your alliance. Shared your youtube page with my FC for them to see !

    So, uh, on a more serious note : The theme you're hearing while fighting the Ascian Prime is called "The Maker's Ruin" and it's basically the WoL's theme. You hear it during the fight with the Ultima Weapon as well. It can also be called "Why do I hear boss music" cause that's what the bosses hear when they fight you.
    "Why the fuck am I crying, I never cry" is probably the sentence that has been said the most about FFXIV.
    You should do the Alexander raids ! It's really good and you'll love every part of it ! I know I did.

  26. 4:52 — Something something about dragons arent humans, and this kind of stuff doesnt seem to work on them like it does us 😛

    6:15 — Well, you remember that episode on the floating rock after beating the big whale? That embarrasment would not have happened, you would not 've lost the key, if you've had the Blessing 😛

    11:42 — They properly revamped that fight and you have to be quick on your toes because… everything just one-shots you XD

  27. I remember that battle with Lahabrea and whatsherface being a pain my first run, especially that orb part. So you weren’t alone there.
    Also I’d like to think Midgardsormr was thinking “Am I a joke to you?” when you were playing around with him in the water haha

  28. FFXIV really enhances the experience with really stellar music. There's a few songs that will just trigger tears as soon as I hear the first few notes, and Dragonsong is one of them.

  29. I never ever understood why people loved dragons so much. I knew of some mythologies and ive seen how they were depicted ect. But there was something about dragon lore and design in FFXIV that just pulled me deep into it and when i got my own little Midgardsormr mount, I was so over the moon! I have ever since wondered how others feel about the dragons in this game vs previously.

    Streaming the leveling of your other jobs is actually such a great idea. It provides a nice distraction while going through it (chatting with viewers). Not to mention you could for example do dungeon runs with your viewers or other activities together like FATES in order to level. I usually watch something when I'm leveling my other jobs and idk why but livestreams are the best stuff for me to watch while doing it 😀

    That minecraft drop items were such a nice edit. I love how no attention was drawn to it with sound or extra visuals, they were just… there… xD

    So many new players who started FFXIV for the first time have shared how they never ever cried over a game and they tear up either in end ARR or HW. There's something about this game that just gets you.

    I'm not too sure what your goal is when it comes to social media presence (like i get about growth and stuff but it doesnt seem to fit what you are into at the same time) If it is to be closer to your community, may I suggest setting up a discord server?

  34. Oh, you're definitely not done with Heavensward. 😉 The post-patch content completes the story!
    I love these videos so much, it's great seeing another sprout's journey along the way through the emotional damage lmao I'm in Stormblood and Heavensward absolutely wrecked me.
