Final Fantasy XIV Shadowbringers Reactions! [Part 10] Almost to the end!

Ahhhhhhhh wow this game is so incredible! In this video we conquer Chai-Nuzz (savage), meet some wholesome ass dwarves, build a giant talos and OH NO HE’S HOT. Both Mt. Gult and Crown of the Immaculate were so incredibly done and I seriously cannot get enough of this game. I hope you enjoy the video ^-^

  1. The whole sequence with the mega-Talos and the arrival of the 'cavalry' is the perfect example of something SE has been getting better and better since the end of ARR… providing a payoff for all the fetchquests and bitchwork. The events of the story flow logically from the prior work you've done helping and uniting various factions. Your reward for the time you, the player, invested is not a slightly-better weapon (that's what Bozja is for… sigh… must keep grinding… must keep grinding… ) but a spectacular cutscene and an incredible story beat that feels plausible (well, by the standards of a world where Talos (Taloses? What's the plural of Talos?) and fey exist…) and justified, not an unearned deus ex machina. (Even if the talos is almost a literal example of where that term comes from! (Ancient Greek plays would use complex (for the time) machines to insert actors playing the Gods onto the stage, who would then solve the crisis at hand.))

I'm rambling, as usual. Love your videos!

  2. I think that quite a few people who actually listened to the hints from the Exarch, name-dropping Eternal Wind, the smoller size of his body, and paid attention to the Crystal Tower raid storyline knew who he was.

But that doesn't take anything away from how perfect and masterful the unveiling scene was. The music, the gust of wind blowing off his cowl…The BS of him trying to sound villainous was only him trying to spare you the pain of having a beloved friend die. He was willing to die in the void alone, knowing that you and your friends hated him, if it meant you'd be safe. That's the impact the WoL had on him.

Emet remains truthful to the very end. If the WoL had actually managed to contain the Light from all the Eaters and saved Norvrandt, I truly believe at that point Emet would rest.

I think deep down he knows that his world and loved ones are gone, and the reason he continues to persist (in addition to the Unsundered being tempered by Zodiark) is just how foreign and cruel the concept of death is to them. They came from a time when needless loss of life, sorrow for a loved one, simply didn't exist. And he's been living that hell for an eternity ever since. He just wants to stop, but until humanity proves itself ready and strong enough to actually take the reins of the world, he can't.

"And then, there was Amaurot…never was a city more magnificent." And soon…very soon, we'll get to see your reaction to it.

  3. YEEEEES!!! I couldn't wait to see your reaction to Vauthry's transformation, when I saw that for the first time my mouth flew open, it's legit become one of my favorite trials ever 😭😭😭 I can't wait to see your journey to Amaurot, and the final stretch of content 🥺👍🏽

Also fun fact, you learn through one of the triple triad cards that (allegedly) Forgiven Obscenity was that Au'Ra girl from your first trip to Eulmore 🙁 at least that's one theory lol

  4. I seem to be in the minority, but after that ending part when Emet goes all fucking MCH, I wanted to rip his fuckin head off and go get our premcious noble bean back. A testimony to their excellent writing, to create an antagonist that is either loved or despised so much! I had the privilege of seeing the next part live ( there was NO FUCKING WAY I was going to miss you finishing this off. Your viewers are not ready heheh ❤️)

  5. In the words of the Crystal Exarch, "How long have I been waiting for this moment." This set of scenes is what I've been looking forward to seeing for so long! Thank you for another awesome video! 😁

  6. The Exarch's identity is an almost impossible to dodge spoiler, but it's not a big deal since it's also incredibly easy to guess on its own merits. Like…who the heck else COULD it be?

  7. Feelsbringers sure hits different when you reach here, thats for sure…
What was once a sure thing has become a nightmare, and time remains firmly against your efforts.

Of course, any warrior of light worth their salt would never let a little light leakage get the better of them! ;3
