I LOVE FINAL FANTASY SO DARN MUCH!!!

What an emotional ride. I CRIED SO MUCH MY EYES BURN NOW. I love this game so much. I love Shadowbringers. Warrior of Light from FF1 was so damn beautiful. A lot of scenes in this patch crushed my soul. I’m sorry that the vods are all over the place. I still need to upload Heavensward/Stormblood and a lot more so I’m SORRY!!

  5. A very nice bit of writing is put in this last part when you come running along around 39:00 :

    – The path and the stretch of forest is the SAME one you arrived in at the start of Shadowbringers
    – Exarch and Beq are lying in the SAME clearing you met the travelling merchant in
    – Lyna intercepts you at the Exarchic Gate and you travel to the Crystarium in the company of the Exarch

  6. This is what I began watching the streams for. 😀 While there's some raids I'm definitely eager to see your reactions for, I wanted to follow the story of Shadowbringers and see why people rave about it, and I knew THIS boss was coming and your reactions to it would be great.

    It was a pleasure and an honor to watch you live playing this part of the epic story of FFXIV. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us and being emotionally into the story. It feels very real and authentic. And coming from WOW as a new player, started few months ago mainly because of Anniefuchsia and Asmon, it touching to see others having the same reaction to the story as myself had during the journey recently.

    Also, have you do the sorrow of werlyt sidequest? If havent, i highly recommend it to do it, this time take it easy on the mascara

  22. I'd say what makes this particular stream so special is that there are not many out there who immediately recognize/note that the Warrior of Light/Elidibus is in the form of FF1 Amano Warrior of Light, and then proceed to get emotional about it, even when the man does the pose.

    Also – I share in the moment with Emet giving us one last wave. Just like you, I cried mid-fight and it does make the fight harder, like goddang it. You use a crystal that summons friends and he comes up to save you at the moment when you need a friend.

  29. FFXIV it's a stellar game and a love letter to the franchise, being a FF Player increase by 500% your experience playing FFXIV so you can catch most/all References to other titles. The game by itself it's a masterpiece, i just feel sad cuz most of FF Players refuse to play this game for ignorance and prejudice, because it's an "MMO" and they have no idea dispite being a MMO this game it's a RPG first, a Final Fantasy first and just like any other FF game there's a Plot, Character Development, Cutscenes, Dialogues, everything that any Offline game does and more.

When Elidibus said “I will strike you down” I got such a flashback to Garland using that same Line in FF1, and it literally took a second death for me the first time I fought him to notice Emet’s wave. I am so glad I go to experience this with you, and I can’t wait to experience the Endwalker journey with you as well friend.

  35. I always love to throw the detail when elidibus poses with the warriors before the second phase is a reference to the original FF14 1.0/ARR logo. Such a cool small moment.
    I always cry even after seeing so many reactions. I love this game so much

  36. I was slightly disappointed you didnt remember…."You've no fight left to fight." But that aside….

    I want to assure you that was Emet-Selch and not a shade. Azem's stone can be used to summon friends to your side. Emet-Selch was one of your best friends. You literally pulled every remaining onze of him from the lifestream for one brief moment, because he could summon your party back from the rift. Hence why his aether dissipated when the spell ended.

  37. 5.3 was so good. Omg. I still think about it regularly. Perfect ending to the expansion proper IMO. I still stand by the entire game could have ended there and I wouldn't have been mad haha. 5.4 and 5.5 are just icing IMO and I can't wait for Endwalker

  38. Fun fact: Soken composed "To The End" (vs the og WoL) while in the hospital fighting cancer.

    The last scene with the Scions was also motion captured. That's why we get some very organic animations out of them.
