Coming from online multiplayer fps this isn't drama just complaints about the system getting exploited and players getting screwed over so something akin to griefing

Unless they do something ingame that can be proven then Square won't do shit. Hell there was someon in HW who used speedhacks even in A4S and didnt get banned. He used exploits in lotro too. I don't care for PVP and only do it if there's fashion I want, but it still sours the game for everyone trying to do it legit. As you said they are gonna cheat and you either join them or get left behind. At the end of the day, nothing will come of this and the people win trading don't give a fuck. if they get banned they'll just buy a new account.

This reminds me of Lance Armstrong's ban from the Tour De France, he tested positive for steroids sure, but they did tests a year later on the top 30 cyclists in the world, and nearly all of them also tested positive. Yet only Lance Armstrong was banned. Seems pretty stupid.

Maybe im just a boomer but what the ACTUAL FUCK is the point of putting one frame images/memes? Does it benefit them as a content creator to have people constantly pausing the video every 5 seconds and backtracking to read/look? It's not so bad when done sparingly but JFC this video gives me Forrest Whitaker eye. Like I get the whole witch hunt thing but if these players are as infamous in EU as this appears blacking out/changing the names would have gotten the point across just as well, especially if they are indeed banned.

This is what happens when you extend your patch cadence to turn an additional 25% of the year into content drought.
The one who was using true natural skill to reach no 1 just to be messed over intentionally is the real victim here and something should be done about that they put in the time and effort in a mode that isn't played alot which means the que time was also long just because 3 cucks wanted to jerk off to their egos.
Ranked is full of auto bot cheaters that has the rotation done for them, yes you read that right, the one game mode where there is only a handful of buttons has people who use a cheat prgoram to do their abilities for them. Including auto shield and auto heals and auto cleanse.
I am not going to mention how I strongly disagree with the idea that "You gotta cheat to win in game or real life", the overall idea of a niche like raiding, PvP, or anything, not only in the game but real life as well, is that people need to maintain the enviromnent, is not about the people who does not give a flying fuck about it, is about the few who actually cares.
Sadly those scenes in FFXIV is like that since ever, PvE and PvP, and SE does not do shit because they keep earning money with the hundreds of bots, and everything else.
Example: People been botting as healer in ROULETTE since ever, if people want this bad to play mobile AFK farm just go play another game.

What hurting the most is a lack of balancing, terrible netcode (the server tick is a joke for pvp), no group queue and insufferable cheaters/wintraders. Wintraders could easily be detected but that would be too much to ask for, wouldn't it?
I mean he can make a video about it but tbh no one outside of the small niche pvp community is gonna care lol. There's cheaters in every category of this game, even housing decorating. Square Enix doesn't take care of this shit. They cant even handle the botters.
Also this mfer needs to leave screenshots on screen longer. Shows it for like 2 seconds and has a black screen for like 10 seconds after.
Probably won't be long till the drama on people having a problem on how you play a character.

Matchmaking for CC is ….rough…i got top 10 plat last season…you need to pvp more hours than i had in a day to keep ranking….but soon as u win a bunch of matches you get paired with absolute brain dead players like without fail…I NEED TO BE ABLE TO TYPE TO THEM GOD DAMNIT

As someone involved in this drama, clears throat this is old news, nothing changed, 0 consequences happened and nobody really cared about anything except the "Trial of Nergo" to shit on the cheaters/wintraders and then pretty much moved on.
Only the memes stayed so far and I think they will never let go of those since ffxiv is pretty much dry when it comes to memes.

Smol multi dollar indie dev company can't make "elo" account wide for some reason, shit match making that is easy to manipulate on top of being shit by itself, enforced latency that encourages ffxiv alex and no clippy and its extremely tough to play against these tools (duh). 0 balancing looks at chiten, chainsaw, every stall job AND SO MUCH MORE 😀

Literally only do pvp for the cosmetic reward, i grind casual crystaline conflict and i dont care if i win or lose, absolutely no point to even touch ranked pvp, so i honestly dont care if people cheat in ranked.
I'm just trying to play some pvp games but 1h30 queue times cuck me out of even considering getting seasonal rewards
