I look forward to your streams! Regarding your question at the end: Both Youtube and Twitch are fine with me, so both would fit.

im curious to see what the big deal with ff14 is. I never had the interested to jump in since there is something about mmos that i heavily dislike.
O dude. I'm totally for this. I'm getting back in to ff14 myself. I'm just gonna back to my old tank character.
We should definitely link up in game.
It's easier for me to watch you on YouTube.
YT works best for me. Good job on your first ffxiv stream last night, looked like you were having fun!
A few thoughts from someone who played WoW for a decade and has played FFXIV for the last two years (I've leveled every class/job in both games to max)
1. Stick to the MSQ but not blindly so. When you go outside and kill the low level animals, stay until level 5. That way you turn in the Level 1 quest and immediately get the Level 5. Level is rarely going to matter if you stick to the MSQ but you can get level locked as you saw when you couldn't get the Level 4 quest because you were Level 3. Note: When you do the dungeons around level 15 you should get far enough ahead that this won't be an issue again.
2. Eat food. You can get a 3% XP boost for an hour – it adds up.
3. Before you do dungeons, do the Hall of the Novice by talking to the guy with the Miounne pointed out to you. You get XP and Gear.
4. Try and learn the skill rotation. You kept hitting 1 instead of 1 2. Eventually it will be 1 2 3 with other things mixed in. Also – you are playing Melee so you need to stay in Melee Range.
5. Pick up all the Aethernetwork points. Having them lets you teleport around the city – including from the Main Plaza. You are missing the Amphitheatre, Botanists Guild, Conjurers Guild, and Leatherworking Guild. It is worth the time it takes to get them.
6. Related to 1: If you need XP check your Hunting Log and kill anything with the symbol over its head. It is a fast way to get XP.
The comments about FF fans not liking FFXIV because it is an MMORPG are really funny because a lot of MMORPG will tell you that FFXIV is really a single-player JRPG and not the Massively Multiplayer PVP game that they prefer. Personally I think it does both quite well. Your character is just another adventurer at the beginning of the game. That isn't really true by the end of ARR. And by the end of Shadowbringers – Well, No Spoilers.
From what you said, you've really only made it through the introductory chapter on your previous attempts. ARR is a good game that has moments that are pretty gear. The expansions are just better.
The story for 14 is one of the best stories i have ever experienced. It doesn't get good though until you reach the expansions, then it skyrockets!
