THE MOON MAP IS MY PERSONAL FAVOURITE.. SO DIFFERENT!! <3 It also seems to be the main Endwalker theme!
I'm going to call it. The Moon is where Zodiark is being kept imprisoned. Because they are using a lot themes from FFIV and in the end of FFIV you go to the moon and at the center of the moon you fight the final boss who was called Zemus. But that's my guess and it's really as good as anyone else's right now. Would love to hear what your thoughts are Alninio.
You can import your character data into the benchmark so while it's stress testing your pc the video will have your character instead of the default derplander. You can also create a character in the benchmark to save into your main game's appearance list, and players who are planning to change to viera have been using this to experiment with bunny boy creation.
The world isnt Eorzea thats the main continent the World is called Hydaelyn. Its also the first thing the narrator says in ARR when you make your character and foreshadows that the source is hydaelyn and the reflections are peices of zodiark. zodiark is most likely imprisoned in the moon but even if hes resurrected next expansion he would only be half power since not all the shards are rejoined.
Love it! If you are not already doing it, you should also have a clip up of you showing us GW2's Reaper, and all your raw comments comparing just the few aspects of GW2 and FF14 – mounts, glams, Reaper skills. I know that's covered in a dedicated video, but I liked the informal one you just did in the stream, and I also like many of the chat comments on it.

The dragon is Vrtra, who is also one of the first brood.
Wasn't aware of the Amaurot styled theme and architecture on the moon, or the Allagan tech crashed there. That's gonna have some interesting explanations.
EDIT: Also, while the events in the benchmark are non-cannon, I do find it interesting how we seemed to be fighting alongside the Garlean troops in both combat scenes involving them. Given the fact that the Empire itself is almost all but in ruin and Zenos couldn't give 2 flying shits about it AND is helping an Ascian get his creepy little rocks off destroying the whole world, I wouldn't be surprised if the "Eorzean Alliance" becomes the "Hydaelyn Alliance" lol. Not much left of the world that would bother fighting us after Garlemald is gone.
The Arion clips look like a luxury car ad to me. I mean, mount = vehicle in a sense yes, but this strikes me as if they hired a former lexus ad creator to make the video. No, I'm not complaining, it's very cool actually.
