I've only been playing FFXIV for a few months and nowhere close to endgame type content for any expansion and I'm STILL so hype for this expansion and the people excited for it as well.
51 minutes? HELL YEAH.
Did I just see Xbox buttons in that beginning gameplay?
The most profitable FF is now 14 an MMO, very interesting and scary. I wonder if FF16 and the FF7 Remake part 2 and 3 will be the last single player FF games for a long long time, specifically they want to bring FF14's story campaigns to be playable as a dedicated solo single player game in the next 10 years. Warcraft 4 never came after the WoW success just saying.
I can't believe I'm feeling genuine EXCITEMENT about a game like the old days when I would get super crazy about an upcoming release, (Batman Arkham City comes to mind). As I've grown, I want to play games of course but not with that desire of playing them as soon as they come out like before, but this man… who would have thought. For so long the idea of playing another MMO (after Ragnarok Online my first and only one) caught my interest but I just never took the plunge, thought I'd get overwhelmed and in the case of FF (love the franchise), the subscription was a big factor cause I just couldn't get it why pay for the game and also a sub (yeah I know for MANY this is normal). I started playing back in Oct 2020 as a solo just because I needed to play something and I was hearing all these good things about the game and as many others, I thought I was missing out. Fast forward to now, (and after having a 3 month break earlier in the year due to burnout) I feel like a whole new person, I play totally differently as I started, I met my now best friend IRL in game (I haven't had someone I could call that in YEARS), I just got to ShB (yeah I play SUPER chill and do what I want when I want) and just getting to the Crystarium feels like a whole new game, the vibes this expansion is giving off are incredible and feel different, I'm so excited.
This Sage job looks SO like my thing man, (I love Gundam) and just being part of something this big for the first time really makes me pump. Anyway, gonna try to calm down now cause I don't wanna rush ShB or anything, already burned out badly as I said but… can't deny that the anxiety caused by FOMO is there and I think I'm not the only one. (Let me know I'm not so I can feel better xD).
dont WATCH has SPOILERS! glad I had reddit comments to warn me beforehand.
I'm excited for the expansion but sad to hear about SCH. I hope they can still make some changes…
The new areas look amazing!
I think the leveling buff will also help new players, starting to level from scratch.
EDIT: Also, at lvl 80 keeping blood of the dragon up is more of an annoyance, so I like the change
I just started this game 3 months ago and have already done all main scenario story quests. This is not only my first time waiting for an mmo expansion to release but also my first mmo ever. Im curious to see just how packed day 1 of an expansion for an mmo is
God i wanna jump into xiv so bad but cant justify the subscription since i wouldnt be able to put consistant time into it
This game is honestly great. The story and world building are just amazing.
Scholar Lalafell Unite! We don't need no new skills when our tool kit is so OP already. We get nerf every single expansion, but still sit at the top healer!
F pretty sure I'm screwed getting a house! Had to take a day off for this damn it
This a good ass game.
"The potencies DID change". Not by much. The vast majority of them were within 10 potency of what was presented in the media tour when ShadowBringer went live.
Still in Realm Reborn.. Think if I play all day everyday, I can still catch up
Im on the great WoW refugee camp from july
Finished Heavensward 3.5 patch yesterday
Going into Stormblood
Im not gonna be anywhere near done with the MSQ when Endwalker arrives but im taking my time with this game
I did not know Damiani was a big PVP guy. Just frontlines or Feast as well? Maybe Rival wings?
I haven't played FFXIV,so I don't know what many of those terms mean, but I enjoy your passion when discussing this game!
Huge props to you two for deciding to preview the content in a way that is in-line with what we love about Easy Allies. I can go elsewhere for my deep dive on the reworked monk. I'm here for the HYPE. L&R.
Thanks Damiani for giving time to see everything including just exploring the new zones
Good content
Holy shit… watching this footage, it just occurred to me why Sage looks so cool. It's because I used to play BlazBlue and the little turret things TOTALLY remind me of Mu-12! :O
Great coverage Damiani. As you said, other people will cover the classes in-depth, I think focusing on just what kind of new abilities there are for classes that you guys are familiar with, or classes that had major changes is the way to go. Don't need to talk about how rotations change or potentcies, just focus on what your excited about, try and take a different angle and offer something that other channels might not cover, and please have someone else with you for the next one too whether that be Ben or Brad or Huber. It's just way better to have two or more people bouncing off each other.
Great work guys! So excited for Endwalker!
Should have invited asmon or rich.
