  2. Berserk, the magnum opus. Immortalized. One man understood Humanity more than any of us could dream of. Kentaro Miura. Thank you. For Guts. For the world of Berserk. For Berserk itself.
Rest in peace. May your soul walk free.

  3. The Balmung vigil lasted at least three days, admittedly with fewer people as time went on, but astonishingly impressive nonetheless.

I first heard of Berserk playing FFXIV, when I was running a dungeon on my low level warrior. Someone in my group told me I had a nice Casca cosplay, and I had no idea who she was. A friend who was with me intervened and agreed I did make a pretty good accidental Casca glamour. After the run, my friend explained what Berserk was, but cautioned me it was kind of "a lot" and they couldn't be entirely sure I should read it.

I ended up reading it and I'm glad I did.

I'm in this video, at the @1:40 mark or so, on the left, wearing the same Casca glamour that started me down this path years ago.

    Miura will be missed.

  4. Miura maked the best manga/anime
It’s sad that his life was taken by death himself
But his soul will be with us
And hope that berzerk legacy countinues.
Rest well miura, you are the best manga maker out there.

  5. Everything that lives is designed to end.
    We are perpetually trapped
in a never-ending spiral of life and death.
    Is this a curse?
    Or some kind of punishment?
I often think about the God who blessed us with this cryptic puzzle
and wonder if we’ll ever have the chance to kill him.*
