While most of the lore for FFXIV can be found in the game there are a few side stories posted online. I decided to read one of them to you because a lot of people miss them, even though they do have a lot of information that’s both interesting and useful. So sit back, grab a snack, and enjoy.

I think they should have at least added one paragraph to explain his gunblade training. It would help to explain why he chose the gunblade besides for its “defensive capabilities.” To find out you have to look carefully for this info. The Tales of the Shadows always provides a fascinating perspective of the characters in the stories. Each one is about personal tragedy and then a faint hope somewhere in it.
I love how him naming Ryne mimics him naming Minfilia. So symbolic and sad. He gave that name to the first Minfilia and took it away from the Second Minfilia. 🙁 I loved how their story ended up wrapping up in shb. So wholesome.
