Commenting to say that I surely hope you continue this in some form. I probably wouldn't play FFXIV for myself based on the story so far but I am thoroughly enjoying being witness to the joy you take from it and your commentary is, as always, a treat.
It's Dan's enthusiasm that carries this early part of FF14, like, yes there's no denying that this part of the game is the least interesting, but it will pick up and I'm as much here for Dan as I am the games (not to mention Carrie's text blips which are usually funny). I absolutely want this series to continue.
I hope this has done well enough to be worth continuing. While it has certainly tapered off compared to episode one, it still seems to be doing at least decently.
Let's make this not be the last episode. Between my potato computer and the server issues, this may be the only way I'll really understand what all the cool kids in my Mastodon feed are talking about.
I'm crossing my fingers that this series gets to continue. As someone that hasn't played the game, I can get an idea of how tedious ARR can be, but boy I'm loving these videos!
Does it count if I claim retroactively that my Patreon support is now for this? I mean, it’s still ongoing so long as I can, this or no… but can I SAY it’s for this?
Speaking as someone who thoroughly enjoys Final Fantasy, but will not play the game, I'd love less talk about mechanics minutae and drawn out battle footage and more focus on story elements. Thank you.
I did this dungeon not too long ago. I watched the whole cutscene, which is really cool. Then I got out of the cutscene and in the mean time the rest of my party took care of the battle…
Huh, in the German version, all the Sylphs you interact with in this quest chain use female pronouns. I wonder how those different translations came about?
I'm highly enjoying this series. I started a new character on this server to play along side Dan as the episodes came out and having a great time. I've played through ARR before on this same free trial account, but I feel like I'm learning a lot about the world and the characters I didn't absorb the first time because I was just wrapping my head around all the MMO stuff. Great show, hope there are plenty more episodes to come.
Hope there's more of this series. Watching the first few episodes convinced me to get the game, which I thankfully did before sales were suspended.
Please keep going!
Really hope this continues Dan! Love the series as I’m waiting for queues to pop.
I'm all for more of this series. If I wasn't already a Patreon, I'd become one to support this!

I even have a signature snack to munch on during these episodes; I certainly hope I don't have to say goodbye to it just yet.
I really hope this continues!
Fantastic series. I hope it continues. Its better than watching mediocre isekai.

Definitely wanna see more of this. I've grown attached to Durmin in addition to the interest for the plot itself :3
"They do so many more interesting things with the Empire later" ~ Dan before playing Endwalker

'3 out of 3 imperials agree, it hits pretty hard' had me laughing out loud :'D

You just keep doing your thing man.
