  1. We just got put in another 5 days 'circuit breaker' lockdown (5km zoned radius from our house maximum unless shopping for food). I needed this way more than I could ever think Bosman, cheers mate!

  2. i really enjoyed Kyles joy at exploring ( though i felt the pain of the password part, been there XD) i did wish chat would have left him alone abit more, instead of having a line off ppl just stalking haha. i did like the armour ranking though

  3. Loved the stream! I had the same exact issue with service accounts when I finally jumped in during Shadowbringers launch after playing the ps4 beta years and years ago, and every friend I’ve gotten into FFXIV after has usually had the same issue. They need to do something to make it easier to just jump in, especially considering you bought the game as opposed to using the trial edition.

Also, I love how often you take a knee while exploring. I was in such a rush to get to ShB that I feel I missed out on that amazing feeling of exploring new worlds that you get with mmos.

  4. I love Final Fantasy XIV! It's a shame that you have to get through A Realm Reborn before the story actually gets good. I wish Kyle could experience Shadowbringers. The story is among the best in the FF series.

  5. Really enjoyed the stream but I agree with the sentiment that maybe chat should of been a little more hands-off. They made for some great moments though!

  6. Can confirm – XIV's login/mogstation rubbish and difficulty downloading the client just to install are truly garbage. Square's arcane methods and rules for just adding or changing your credit card are wild. It's the game's biggest drawback compared to WoW's ease of access for new players. That said, once you're all set up, XIV is phenomenal

  7. Yeah just gonna say it, in towns and stuff where there's always a bunch of people it's fine, but; people constantly following streamers about and forcing themselves in to camera view for the duration is just…. lame. We get it, you got the shiny thing and got on stream, gj.

Other than that, this was a GREAT stream, loved watching Kyle take in the details and appreciate the surroundings, and I hope there's a lot more of it to come. I know the story starts very slow, but with a story as massive as XIV is now the groundwork it firms is really quite important, the fact some people actually pay to skip it is sad.

  8. Chat always ruins the questing experience in MMOs. So unnecessary to go around spamming heals and buffs. It takes away from the immersion which is what Kyle's usually all about.
    Fun stream nonetheless.

  9. What Kyle experienced with the Login in why I quit FFXIV the first time. For about a year if I input the wrong password once it would make me log onto mognet and change my password it became increasingly more infuriating as you have 12 passwords that you have recently used for the game.

  10. Honestly, watching this makes me feel disappointed in my home datacenter (and server, for that matter).. here's a guy basically playing for the first time and you're dancing around him firing off spells and just being a general nuisance.
