  1. Good stuff man! The only thing I can think of that was missed was the Ragnarok class Allagan ships which share a lot of resemblance to the FF8 Ragnarok design. You can see a few of them on Mare Lamentorum and referenced in the Binding Coil raids

  2. One thing that is also worth noting is that the Mitron’s true name being Artemis could be seen as a reference to Ultimecia as her name in the west could be a mistranslation of Artemisia which adds to the FFVIII references in Eden and is a possible real world base for part of the design for Eden’s Promise.

  3. Nice!!! Just in time for the PuPu reference yay!!! I was hoping it was going to make it for this video hahaha!! I loved every FF8 reference in this game, 99% of them gave me goosebumps and the 100% brought a nostalgic tear in my eyes.

  4. I know there was a song during the raid cutscenes too but I dont think there is an orchrestion roll for it (yet?). But if I recall it was a version of balamb garden. Im not sure which cutscene was but I believe it was one of the final ones involving Gaia and Ryne

  5. Something to add to Gunbreaker skills, in PvP they have an action called "Draw & Junction". When used it grants the gunbreaker buffs and ability changes depending on the role the skill is used on as they're effectively "junctioning" that role.

  6. Love these videos man! As a life-long Final Fantasy fan, and a player of FF14 for the past 5 years, it's cool seeing a dedicated video for each FF game's references in the MMO. You're the only youtuber I've come across that's doing this, so keep up the good work. And I can't wait for the remaining games, heh.

  7. I'm one of the few FF8 diehards (I guess it just came out at the right point in my life idk) so this is very much the video I'd been waiting for. I lost my flipping mind at the ShB raid content.

  8. FF8 is my least favorite FF. Why others like 2 and several spin-offs like Type-0 and 4 After Years are technically worse, I feel 8 is the most disappointing for my tastes. Even with it having my least favorite base OST. However 14 has shown how, for all my hating of, 8 had some great ideas. Just… very flawed. Eden really made me rethink it all, and why I still don’t put the game any higher, it does make me hope one day that 8 gets a remake that allows it to really breathe with all its ideas.

  9. Praying that Pandemona shows up in the Pandemonium raids, even if just its design. It's so weird, and it hasn't been seen in the series since

  10. One of the songs you might have glossed over was Ami, it's a track from FFVIII and it plays at the end of the the Eden's Verse raids. It's one of my favorite FFVIII pieces.
