My viewers asked for it, here it is! An updated look at two of my favorite MMORPG games in a comparison and contrast video! Since the release of Endwalker and End of Dragons, more content has been released and some of it has been a game changer. Check this out to see how!

As someone who actively plays both of these games (though I tend to sort of pendulum my way back and forth between the two sometimes), I really enjoyed this comparison video!
I pretty much agree with all of the points you've made, though I would add another thing to the things GW2 does well. As both games' communities put a lot of focus and energy into fashion/glam, I think the system GW2 offers is superior – especially the way dyes work with having multiple channels in which to put colors. I can't even begin to say how many times I've wanted to add even just one extra dye to a piece of glam to make my FFXIV character's look really come together! I do like the plate system of FFXXIV very much, but having limited slots to store glam options and needing to find inventory space for every single dye often means that I feel, well, limited.
I also think that the mount system in GW2 is more engaging and interesting than really any other major MMO currently offers, although I'll admit that at this point for most games it's too late to rework their entire mount system to be anywhere near as deep so maybe that's not entirely fair to them. GW2 launched without mounts for the first several years, after all, so they did have the benefit of seeing what other games were doing with their systems and make strides toward improving on the idea.
All in all, fantastic video!
