After the amazing response from the last video, today we are going to reacting to all the version trailers for the first time within this video. Genshin impact has a multitude of amazing trailers, and we are going to be exploring all of them. This final fantasy 14 fan has no Idea what he is getting himself into.
If you want to playing genshin impact, it is a free to play game on PS5 Mobile, and nintendo switch. And remember to comment down below what other genshin impact videos I should react to next.

Sadly genshin is heavy fomo they remove most of the temporary stuffs which is alot
To clarify something about the updates, some content is permament other content is rotating. For example, we had the prophunt event several times by now, we regularly get combat events each patch and what not.
some areas will disappear after an event
other than Character Demos, Version trailers, and Character teasers, there's also Story teasers (But if you want to play the game, i suggest to not see it as you will see it when you play the story) and Collected Miscellany (A demonstration of the characters skills and a little bit of their lore)
There's also an Interlude called "A Winter night's lazzo" That you can watch after finishing Act 2 of the story
Yes, they usually introduce characters before they are playable to help to the story and making us care for them to roll when they're actually introduced.
The pink haired girl in 3.7 is Charlotte, she hasn't been made playable and as far as 4.1, she stills unplayable.
For now, the longest wait has been Baizhu (snake guy) who was introduced back in the early versions 1 and wasn't playable until 3.6 (wasn't playing myself back then, but I guess it was during 1.1 he got added to the story)
Day 2 of asking you to review Honkai: Star Rail character trailers! They have amazing graphics and I would love to see your reaction
There's no raid boss, I think.
Wow massive nostalgia from watching these as a player who started since launch. Hope you try out Genshin soon, and I hope that you enjoy the game as much as I do.
Because you asked:
The events are sadly time-limited and don't come back, so earlier events cannot be enjoyed by new players. There are new events with the same theme at the same time in the year, but they are new with new stories and new event special items etc.
Some of the content that is introduced by events stay, such as skins for characters or boat travel, others like event items mostly vanish. A few like instruments can be bought in in-game shops, but sadly that does not include weapons. That means that Albedo's best weapon, which they always give him in character try-outs, is unavailable for any new players.
Much of the lore, character background, and items are thus lost to new players and cannot be experienced by them. Luckily, there are quite a number of YouTubers that capture them, so at least you can look them up, but it is never the same as experiencing them yourself. It's one of the biggest gripes I have with Genshin.
Yep Ray Chase voices Neuvillette and he absolutely nails it!
confused about the Wanderer? .. i'm afraid you'll have to play the game to find out the .. Truth .
Neuvilette IS indeed Ray Chase 🙂
1:28:15 actually, the default mode for this battle is single player, but once you finish the archon quest there's a co-op option to play with other 3 players. at every end of an archon quest or character story quest we have "weekly bosses", which are like normal bosses except they have their own domain, multiple phases, are more difficult and give special materials which you can only reclaim 3 times every week.
Unfortunately a lot of the content does leave, which makes the game extremely boring once you’ve done everything. Still a great game though
The sad thing is and this continues to be one of the main problems of Genshin is that about 50% of this content does indeed just get deleted the moment the events end. So once you have eventually completed the main story and exploration of the world (which certainly takes quite some time for a new player) there actually is surprisingly little to do in Genshin outside of the events once you have reached the endgame.
You’re right about some of the characters not being playable for a hot minute. There’s some characters that we’ve seen from when the game released that didn’t come out until recently.
As far as the minigames, they cycle out with each event and they bring back minigames that people love for other events. Certain events are done yearly, like Lantern Rite 😀
The bosses come in two types- World bosses and Trounce bosses which are the big ones that you do in teams or solo if you want. You only ever can have up to 4 people, so 'raid' is a bit strong of a term but the Trounce bosses can be really tough and amazing if you're not prepared XD The big rock dragon in the earlier trailer you watched took me over 45 mins to solo when it first came out!
You gotta watch the 'A Winter Night's lazzo' teaser!
You're right that some characters appear way before they become playable. The current record holder is Baizhu, who you could meet in 1.0 but didn't become playable until 3.6. There's also a really important character who you meet in 1.4 who I feel like won't become playable until version 7.0 at the earliest.
Thanks for the reaction, it was very good! By the way, if you're interested in reacting to more games that are similar to Genshin, you should check out Honkai impact 3rd. It's the predecessor to Genshin Impact, and while not as popular, there's a VERY good amount of content and trailers to react to. There's also animated shorts that would be great for you to react to. If you're interested and need any playlists, I can send you some.
in genshin are no raids only bossfights all are soloable and its only against one boss
The fact that youre remembering so much detail from the trailers and demo makes me excited to see your journey in the future. Definitely subbed for more.
After you reacto to genshin, i want to suggest to check honkai impact 3 animations video (in proper order). This is mihoyo's 1st big project and its still on going. I this honkai impact is their passion project tbh
The amount of free content in this game is insane. I am more than happy to make the small monthly transactions like Welkin (bond gems for wishing every day) and battle pass when it offers more content and playtime for me than a triple A game
I love that he's surprised at the time it takes for a character to be introduced to becoming playable.
Wait till he hears Baizhu was introduced in 1.1 and released in 3.6
Wig you were wondering who those two blondes are, they are the main characters. So if you pick the female as the main character, then the male will be in place of the female at around 8:38 as the main goal is to find the missing sibling witch is the main character that you didn’t pick. The girls name is lumine and the boys is aether
You have no idea how long we had to wait for some characters to become playable. Like Baizhu… almost 3 years. He was introduced the first patch and dude didn't become playable till this summer. Ray Chase does indeed voice Neuvillette.
So regarding the characters that are available to pull for each patch there is four 5 star characters and they are divided by two for the first half and the other two on the second. Neuvillette is gonna be available on the first half of this patch with Hu Tao while Wriothesley is available in the second half with Venti. The update is available to download and start in 3 days on the 28th which funny enough is Genshin impacts anniversary and my birthday 😂
So if you wanna get Neuvillette then you have the first half however if you want Wriothesley then you gotta wait. I recommend you start before the update cause if you want to top up this is your ultimate chance since the shop has double crystals on first time purchase and will reset after the update thanks to the anniversary. So you get 4 times the amount on the purchase of 2 which is like a 50% off and a huge win!
So genshin patch updates usually always include 1 big limited time event, a limited time character gacha and a few smaller limited ones (including limited time weapons, special items etc). Then permanent content such as the main story, new areas and playable character related stories. I'd say you missed 70% of the content (since they are not replayable) but don't be too hung up abt it cuz the main game has soo much stuff and as most players said don't rush to keep up with the old players cuz it's an stressful uphill battle. You're going to miss a lot of stuff that older players get to savor fully and have fun with
Bruh i started playing during 2.7 (inazuma end game), but for some reason the lantern rite ost always gave me a sad , tear and joy at the same time… It's like imaging a show like one piece, u know it's so damn long , u wanna get more to see the conclusion but u don't wanna see the end either, ig this is the "memories" typa song but genshin😅
Neuvillette is voiced by Ray Chase! you are right!
React to character miscellany too if u want to. Its a bit much more longer video for each character but maybe u could do part 1 part 2 if its too long. It is basically a tutorial video on how each characters work and how to use them properly in a certain team comps. So maybe u could learn a thing or two for the characters that u would like to play as when/if u ever decided to play this game
1:34:58 Yup! They do lanternrite every year mid/end of January then February in honor of Chinese new year
Man I found your channel theough your last genshin video and I've just gotta say watching the numbers climb since then and watching the like goals you're asking for get smashed out of the water makes me so happy. You have a great personality and great reactions and I'm glad more people are getting exposed to your channel! Can't wait to see the growth from here, and can't wait to check out your other content too
Will you cook some video about Teyvat chapter storyline preview: travail,
Teyvat chapter interlude teaser: a winter's night lazzo,
Tsubaki in thawing snow?
Cause man, i like how you cook em.
I'm loving your reactions! Genshin is my favorite game so it's always fun to see new people getting into it. Are you planning on doing your playthru live or privately and then upload?
You use the word 'raid' a lot but unfortunately, there's no such thing in this game. Almost everything you saw was solo content, just you against a boss, and they are rarely very difficult. Many of them are barely bosses, let alone 'super bosses'. Some of these things CAN be done in a group of 4, but in doing so you lock yourself to 1 character instead of swapping between 4, and it almost always takes longer, or is more difficult to do it in a group, for no extra reward.
A lot of us hoped for actual dungeons and raids and stuff, things to do with other players, a reason to collect and level up characters and get them to be as strong as we could. But it never came. Instead we just get a new patch once in a while with temporary content that after a few weeks is completely removed from the game. That's why a lot of people quit. We realized… there is no endgame.
Which answers your question… yes, the content leaves.
Also no… there are no guilds.
You also seem to go on a lot bout the amount of content. Each patch is like an hour or two of content, and most of it is 'story' content that barely actually progresses the story. A lot of 'go here, talk to NPC, go here, talk to another NPC'. And that's not to mention how half the things that get added are promptly removed a few weeks later.

Let's just appreciate how much a lot of time he puts in these awesome videos to make our day, huge respect! 😀 😍
