  1. Personally my favorite theories are Geomancer or Green Mage

Genbu was a turtle and a mage of the land>Geomancer
    Turtles are green>Green Mage

I think those are the best options for caster

  2. Sounds like you had an amazing time at FanFest, Chris! And I'm on board with you about the game going to Xbox, Brian. I look forward to trying to convince a few of my Xbox friends to join me on FFXIV when it releases. So I have a year to work on them. Lol. More players, more revenue, more funds to do some of the stuff they really want to do that lack of funding prevents.

  3. As far as the joint sub idea, I would love that. Last time I played ffxi was when it first released on the original ps2. Man that was such a pain to set up. On top of that I lived in the Texas boonies, so internet was… not mmo usable. I would love, to play 11 along side 14.

  4. The event looked like alot of fun! Hope you had a great time Chris!

From my experience, most of the bots are accounts that have been hacked posting in limsa. Mostly because people are dumb and click links ingame for free 30m gil giveaways….

  5. I'm glad you had a good time Chris. I was looking for you and Jesse, but only got a glimpse of you after the primal concert (I tried to call out but my throat was so sore and dry) and looked like you were focused and b-lining it back to hotel so. It was still cool to see you irl. Unfortunately I had a really bad experience. I spent the whole time either standing in lines or sitting on a dirty cement floor. For like 20-30 minutes a couple of us were doing staff job redirecting entry line upstairs. Never got to do any of the events, barely got the sticker and poster reward (after just getting scans for the badge…never got to do the games), there was no cold water, no safe food for me (and 2 fc mates) to eat, no trial, no merch. In the back cement area for the concerts was just bad audio and the screens didn't sync with audio and was distorted and echo-y. In the back cement area it did not feel like I was at a concert…it felt like I was outside of a concert event and leaning in for a free listen…except it wasn't free. I am also annoyed that people were like 200 bucks for 2 concerts ain't bad…but the cost is much more than that, and the concerts were honestly meh (for the back half anyways). I had to miss most mid-day stuff because I had to venture 20-30 minutes away for food and go to hotel for cold water and rest. The only saving grace is that some of my fc mates were also there (2 of them got engaged too…I saw you walk by shortly after). But we were quite fractured and split because of all the lines and waits and focus. None of us got to do everything. I personally say that it was way too many people…..too small of a space….not enough activities. And the games really should have been not in same room of main stage. I was so excited and hyped to go, and did my best to suck up my physical issues and pain, and I was just incredibly saddened and later quite maddened…cuz I couldn't do anything and the concerts were…okay. Digital fanfest was soo much better. I ended up watching Brian's stream of the keynotes after because I couldn't understand half of what was said (too much echo and distortion) and I really wanted to see his reaction to Xbox. I was the only one anywhere around me that had any idea what was happening lol. Sorry for the long rant, but I know ff14 peeps…they won't say boo about this game….but fanfest for a lot of people wasn't great at all. Especially them boasting "first fanfest since covid" and "10 year anniversary" and that it is ada friendly with plenty of food venders (hear about the food poisoning from the mayo under heat lamp all day? and severely undercooked pizza). I have more details of complaints about the app, the staff, other people, etc. It was an absolute failure for me…and really has deflated me. If you go on reddit there are lots of similar complaints and more. (ps when I watched your Xbox reaction I cried right along with you my dude <3…would have preferred to watch you live). Like seriously go check reddit posts. At at the end they were just giving away the posters and stickers without even checking for bands (yes there were many there without bands I saw). So, I'm sad because I know a lot of people didn't even get that. It was the first time I ever went to anything like this…and probably the last. 😞

  7. I think a good compromise for having a bigger venue would be to combine the NA and EU fanfest sand hold in it the Javitz center in NYC like NY Comic Con
That or maybe a Stadium, which New York has several
