I mean… I wasnt much older than you when I started XD But at least I knew other MMOs, that helps… at least with this modern incarnation of FF14. And no, its not "the higher the level the less coverage" – you can wear that stuff already at lvl1. Question is, can you pay for it? XD
The story really is good but its a longer one so the start is a bit slow but don't rush or you will just get burned out. And don't worry this game has a huge amount of glam and relatively few of them are actually lewd. I would recommend watching a video about important setting to change and optionally mods to install since some can make a great improvement to the UI and overall handling of your character. One plugin will even prevent people from spamming ads in the chat which can get annoying.
The Council shall be watching your career with great interest, young sprout.
