While there are many references and allusions to Tactics Ogre throughout FFXIV, one of the major ones is the two Valerian gearsets that were added in the Heavensward and Stormblood expansions. So, for the upcoming release of Tactics Ogre Reborn and with Final Fantasy XIV celebrating this by making the original versions of these gearsets dyable, I decided to show off each of these sets and show you their inspirations.

I love these sets, they're many of my faves and I didn't even realise they were from tactics ogre! It'll only enhance my appreciation for them. I had to collect the tactics inspired armour from return to ivalice raids after playing tactics a couple years ago. The XIV Agrias armour set is my fave tank armour in the game
