My intro/outro theme is from a very talented artist named Otso, I highly consider checking the song out! It’s called “Cute ninjas (don’t) cry”

Your channel literally just showed up, watched all the ff reactions and i went through all the emotions being a loyal player. I love the music, and my experiences i’ve made through when these fights/expansions/experiences were day one. I’m glad you’re living our favourite universe through the love in their music!
If I had to recomend one song there's many but to show you a bit of the diversity I would recommend Titania's theme or Alexander's themes
listen to Eden Shiva's Theme the song is fire
and Cruise Chaser's Theme
FFXIV Answers
Im glad the title got u there thinking it be more a high energy song instead of this beautifully haunting melody. But if ur looking for guitar then u can try the artist Husky of Geek on youtube for ff14 melody he did for soken when we learn of his battle with cancer. U dont have to do it as a reaction but it something u can listen 2 on ur spare time. :3
I'm kind of interested what your reaction to the Sephirot theme as well as the Eden Titan theme would be those songs to me are quite different in feel compared to a lot of the other trial themes (though I would suggest listening to the regular titan theme first since the Eden one is a remix of the regular on.)
So I binge watch all your FF14's osts reaction. Glad to see genuine reaction from music perspective that doesn't get linked to the game's experience. As for me, every songs make goosebump due to the overwhelming emotions connected to them through my playthrough. Honestly, at this point you should listen to all FF14's expansions and bosses theme songs. Some are bangers and some are emotional but all are masterpiece
This song plays during an epic battle…
Many a party has wiped because of the tears, I hear!
100000% react to Answers if you loved Dragonsong.
Mate if you think your feelings are locked away then try and play the game plus the expacs. Then you might get something unlocked like i did. Now Listening to that song and seeing the pictures can make me tear up. FFXIV was a game i thought was a waste of time only 2 months ago. But i gave it a shot and it is by far the best story/game I have ever played. It makes Game of Thrones blush and even when the main "baddies" die you can end up with tears in your eyes and feeling bad that we had to end them. I teaches people to forgive and see the good in other people and give them a new chance. That leads to the most loving comnunity I have ever had the honor to be part of. So maybe make a Jesse reacts and plays Youtube and Twitch channel and try it out. If you either do not like to read or if you have a hard time with it then this guide an help you with a great Text To Speech solution https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=woObxDjZICI
It's an older game, but FFXI Memoro de la Stono is so good! It gained popularity a few years ago with the linguistics community because the beginning is in Esperanto (a constructed language that's less than 150 years old)
The music in this game is incredible, but what's more incredible is the context of the songs in the game itself, and if you ever feel like trying it out, you really ought to, because as good as the music is, it's so much more dynamic within the story of the game. I love the FF franchise, but I admit, I never was interested in playing an MMO–until all my friends started it. Once I started it, I was hooked because this game and the music that they have so painstakingly created has met to become an experience that is truly unforgettable. This game, like all FF titles, has mastered the art that is melding the story and the music and the gameplay to become an experience unlike any other. I've played many games where I've turned the music off or down because it was just 'there', but it did nothing to compliment or add to the overall experience, but this game and the music … If you ever choose to play FFXIV through, I think you'll be moved by the way they've managed to mesh these things together.
Dawg wait until he reactions to Answers.
Man, when you said your favorite song was from MGS, I was like "Best is yet to come, best is yet to come! Come on say it!" and I was RIGHT!
Small correction, this one isn't Soken, this is Uematsu.
I've seen your other reaction videos on FFXIV thus far and am quite enjoying them. I see you're an axe man, so I would throw this request out – I think you'll dig "Paglth'an" from, yet again, FFXIV. It is a dungeon theme and could include some spoilers but damn this track is freakin' metal…
Man, love your reactions! Somehow I'm hoping I'll also find you one day reacting to playing the game itself, maybe in the near future(?).
If only so you can experience the full extent of whatever made you choke up in this video once you add in context. 😀
Edit: Forgot to add my vote for "Answers" from A Realm Reborn as the next one from the series to review.
Nidhogg did nothing wrong.
So Jesse. Whens the live reaction to this music appearing in game as you play? 😉
To give credit where it is due, this was composed by long-time lead composer of the FF franchise going back to FF1, Nobuo Uematsu.
Composer — Nobuo Uematsu
Arranger — Tsutomu Narita
Lyrics — Michael-Christopher Koji Fox & Kazutoyo Maehiro
Vocals — Susan Calloway
Uematsu-san also composed the amazingly epic pieces Answers and Revolutions.
If you have enjoyed Dragonsong, then you absolutely can't miss Freefall and Revenge of the Horde. And they're best when listened in the sequence: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BnOKdmAcSP0&t=407s
Been playing XIV since 2011 so the music hits really hard because each song reminds me of various chapters in my life. Dragonsong and Answers just do something to my spirit
The tone for the song is so fitting too as it comes at the end of a expansion during the credits of it and as we look back at everything that happened and this specific part of the story is very we have won but at what cost what have we lost along the way. Very much a somber reflection of loss but at the same time growth.
Loved the video, as I see a lot of people already picked answers I will go with my favorite song in all of ffxiv Revolutions from Stormblood. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UmQm76wFfKk&ab_channel=FINALFANTASYXIV
If you watch answers, you should watch the video titles "FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn – End of an Era" on the ffxiv main channel. The song is made to accompany this and its well worth watching the video as well as reacting to the song
Equalibrium from FFXIV is another good one! It's about a 'goddess' whose defining trait is balance, 'equalibrium', but her idea of balance isn't necessarily kind or tied to human morality – which the song lyrics will demonstrate! Just a headsup though, the intro is like a minute or more long before lyrics kick in.
Oh I just thought of these too! If you wanna see some cool stuff Soken can do with those leit motifs you should check out these three songs in this order. It's the order we encounter them, from underwater zone, to fantasy art deco NYC filled with illusions made by a broken hearted immortal, to the end of a world (that illusionary one from before) and a people as depicted by the immortal.
▪︎Full Fathom Five
▪︎Neath Dark Waters
▪︎Mortal Instants
I had the pleasure of seeing this song live along with a couple other songs by Susan Callaway. She was phenomenal. When you know the game and the story the songs gain a deeper meaning and it's hard not to tear up.
Everyone's giving you very feeling-heavy songs, but I'd like to go to the opposite direction and point you to "Beauty's Wicked Wiles" (Sri Lakshmi's theme), "What Angel Wakes Me" (Titania's theme) or Good King Moggle Mog XII's theme. Part of the fun of the game is that there's something for everyone, so there's a wide range of both gameplay styles, job types, ways to spend your time and, yes, music themes.
No matter who you are, Eorzea has something for you.
