  1. ahhhhh, this is actually a boss fight song (i wont say what one unless you ask XD ) but the title has to do with the story behind the boss, you were correct with a water type theme tho! its one of my favorites cuz it sounded similar to the Ghost in the Shell opening. its such a great vibe! cant believe no one else requested that one yet.

  2. Damn he's good and hits in some of the themes pretty well other than it being a boss track. Look up the name of the trial for just how close you are.

This is my favorite track from heavensward and plays in my house. I wish it were longer or got a pulse remix.

  3. It's a boss fight against Bismark. It is a giant flying whale god that manipulates the weather who is worshipped by a tribe of birdmen. You fight it on a floating island pulled along by an airship. I personally like it, the hard mode is fun to tank, but it is very gimmicky and considered one of the worse boss fights in XIV. Also you are correct, it's a Heavensward fight.

  4. Part of the reason this theme stands out to me is that it's one of the only DnB tracks I think exists in FFXIV, but it's also just a unique fight in general. It is a boss theme, but it's a bit unique in that the opponent you're fighting is less a foe and more a literal force of nature itself. Which is probably why the music sounds more like a zone. If the devs had the chance to do what they probably would have done with this fight, they would have made the entire zone itself your enemy.

The sad part is this fight is the theme of one of the more forgettable fights in XIV, mostly due to it being poorly executed in my opinion. The idea is cool, the execution is poor. But that doesn't stop this from being a really cool track.

  5. Woe is basically pity toward, or feeling bad for someone or something. or something bad as to be pitiful or regretable. Woe is me. Woe to the foolish. Woe that is Madness would then mean Madness is Pitifully Bad

  6. As others have said, it's a boss theme, and my personal pick for worst boss fight in the game (mechanically), which may explain the lack of requests. However, the OST in this game never fails to provide something unique and entertaining regardless.

  7. I love this song, but I couldn't have named it. I think it's less requested because people are mixed on the fight. Emotional weight plays a lot in these requests I think 😛 And it's also only one of like three songs that play during the fight, as you heard it's pretty short. Usually I think most of us think of the songs in terms of the whole fight progression because that's how we experience them first

  8. When you did this fight on expansion (Heavensward) you never forget it. Legit felt a shiver up my spine when the music kicked off.

    in my head
    – Why didn't someone fire the harpoons!
    – I got killed by a bubble
-FFS stop getting hit by the twister
    -Kill the adds quicker
-Get on the boss, you aren't doing any dmg!
-WHY DIDNT NOONE PUSH THE BUTTON!

    Good times…Fuck that whale.

  9. This is phase 2 music in Bismarck, a giant flying whale boss you fight on a floating island in the sky. The 2nd phase is shorter so you don't hear this loop that much; it's in the part of the fight where he manipulates the weather for different mechanics. Throughout both phases most of his mechanics are dropping water and tornados on the arena, so the element of water is pretty on the money I'd say. While generally it's not a well-liked fight, most can agree the music while brief is a pretty good jam.

p.s. it was nice to see you drop by Psybear's stream the other day!
