FFXIV White Mage Guide: Level 50 – 90 in detail

In this video, I continue my walk with you through all of the spells and abilities of the White Mage, continuing from level 50 onward to level 90. Time is taken to look at how every spell and ability along the way is best used.
We also talk about the best way to go about using the Lilies in the healing gauge, taking in many perspectives.
We finish off with detailing an attack opener, AoE attack tips, general Healing advice – mostly for dungeons – and then a talk about stat priorities!

If you find some things are going a bit fast or a bit slow, I invite you to speed up, or slow down or even pause the video for your convenience! I will admit there are some parts of the video that have relatively large blocks of text that not everyone will be able to read while also listening, before I move on to the next subject.

  1. White Mage Changes in 6.2:
    1) Liturgy of the Bell now lasts 5 more seconds. This does not affect it's total healing potential, but does make it easier to get the full benefit of it. Remember that you can still press the action a second time to detonate it early.
    2) Healing over Time effects like Regen no longer generate Enmity.

    White Mage Changes in 6.1:
    1) Stone and Aero spells had their cost reduced. Aero spells also had their durations increased to 30 seconds. At higher levels where you learn Glare and Dia, this changes nothing.
    2) Regen has had a small cost reduction.
    3) Cure III and Asylum had their areas increased. For Cure III, you should still keep in mind that Medicas radius is still significantly larger!
    4) You now generate lilies every 20 seconds instead of 30!
    5) Afflatus Misery (The blood lily) got a huge potency increase, so now it does exactly the same damage as 4 Glare III's. The AoE component got reduced somewhat to compensate, but the main take-away is that it is no longer a damage loss to use your lilies when you need them! Lilies that you are getting more of, too!
    6) Liturgy of the Bell can now be pressed a second time to force it to detonate early.
