Chinese game makers and their shameless plagiarism…do they not have 1 ounce of originality?? why go into the game making industry when you have zero passion and all you do is keep ripping off other people's creations? this is because in most of chinese company (I work for tw and hk company before) if u are proposing something to them, they will ask "how can u sure it would work?" they don't wanna try something new because there are existing idea that is working
As much as I am loathe to defend China in any way, 90% of cultural production are copies in West too, it's just that it's done more subtly to avoid copyright, but lets be real, everyone steals from everyone, it's just a fact.

Yeah, this doesn't surprise me cuz I grew up visiting Taiwan a lot seeing similar Chinese products sold in stores copying Final Fantasy and other popular pixel JRPGs, but it's still ridiculous, hahaha. I don't think these Chinese companies give a shit about copyright laws in other countries or any form of creative integrity, it's just about making money.
