You going need to pay real money anyway for the sub to use the Market board and retainer cause Free trial have no access to those.

also remember for players who donāt pay real money for extra retainers. Each free retainer only has 20 slots to sell items on the market board. Unlike in wow thereās almost no limit on how many times your are selling on the AH.
In FF14, if those items putting on the market board are not sold ie: in 24 hrs. You are potentially losing money says you could have sold another treasure map. And also there are others trying to bait other players buying up all the ācheapā items. So choose your items to sell carefully if you want to flip the market. while trying to monopoly your server ās price on certain items. Also travelling to another realm in your DC is time consuming. If you ever realm hop just looking for a specific fate monster for daily ARR hunt you will know that feeling.
You could have done 5 crystal conflicts or run 1-2 dungeons for 1-2 thousands gils pure profits.
The number of profits always look temping in these videos, but research your own DC and serversā price carefully before attempting.
Also bots exist on each data centres farming all raw materials. Sometimes they will dump raw mats dirt cheap on the market board.
