  1. Well, being how Belts have no Glam value. Yeah. It is about time. Though that means Item Levels would be adjusted or those maxed out gear people will feel less powerful.

  2. The information about this is less than just lackluster. Belts have stats and especially for Gatherers and more so for Crafters heavily overmelded belts are part of the neccessary gear to craft top items or at least craft all ordinary stuff as HQ from NQ materials. This completey throws everything from a cliff !! Noone has lost a word about it. Stat squish ..do they also squish all the quality and durabiity number on any craftable item accordingly? Im sorry but im having doubts. "But the stats go on the rings, dude!!!" …well ..do the rings also receive an increase in melding slots and overmelding capacity? It remains a mystery! Besides people havee spent a fuckton of gil and time on getting all that gear and tuning it so it works in concerto. I fear theres gonna be a rough awakening for the crafting community.
    I think taking away an entire gear slot in a gear based game is a STUPID idea especially for something as traditional as a belt just because they were too lazy to implement belt graphics and physics years ago the solution is …not to go the extra mile but remove them. Its just LAZY.

  3. I am told that collectors are buying speed belts so they can have it. There are people that like to keep old items that cannot be obtained. Some still have the old Elemental Materia, for example.

  4. This is a really welcome QoL change. Mostly excited about more ring storage since I carry around extras for spot glamming. For the same reason, I would rather have more space for shoes, lol. ( I don't really mind the main hand being full since relic grinds are not something I do all the time, unlike glams.) I wonder if they remembered to do something with a couple of really old achievements that require equipping belts from ARR dungeons.

  5. So you can't see belts, they do nothing other than act as an extra item with stats/slots. What is the point of a calamity salvager holding onto them at all? Just sell them, delete them, whatever, but they really have no place.

  6. I'm actually glad to get rid of the belts, you can't even see your character wear them anyway. And as an idea, one of the things I do, is I keep some weapons in my chocobo saddlebag. That way when I have to switch weapons to upgrade, I just grab them from there instead of either keeping them stored on me or my retainers. I found it easier that way. ^_^

  7. I feel bad for people that crafted belts and selling it on mb lmao , well anyways i think ima leave the cryptlurker belt alone since belts are gonna be removed and cant be equipped lol
