The Warrior of Light, by his Final Fantasy XIV companions, travels back to The First to investigate the past via the Crystal Tower. Following a brief visit with Lyna and Ryne, the WoL arrives to the tower and uses an old soul crystal to summon a familiar face. He takes note of the situation and works to configure coordinates to the past — to a distant world where the world was unsundered and whole; where Hydaelyn was more commonly known as Etheirys.
