The Midlander Experience

And here it is, the last Final Fantasy XIV race experience featuring my favorite Hyur variant: Midlanders. We go over the basic things from their customization options, animations, characteristics, and stereotypes that I have grown prone to noticing. And of course you get the vocal musical that comes with every one of these race videos. If you’re reading this, I am currently in Egypt and will be back around the earlier parts of January, so I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and have a good new year. I have my fingers crossed that this coming year will be better for us all! Take care of yourselves and I will see you soon!

  1. I love playing as a fem mid bc smh it fits to the narative, trying many times to play as an elezen or aura but I just kept returning to hyur…And maybe bc I enjoy seeing my character being towered over by tall male npcs, such as elezen or…Garleans 👉👈

  2. Midlanders probably have the most potential to look unique but the guys seem to be afraid of being unique so choose the same 2 faces, the same hairs and make themselves feel better about looking like every other midlander by saying all Miqo’te look the same (which is true but the call is coming from inside the house 🤷)

  3. What a highly neutral and unbiased review of the totally unique never seen before human race that truly stands out.

That said, I do apprecaite the human race for just being the big safe go to for any human player to project into . . . How do you think we will have to solve this from a gaming experience design perspective if alien alliances ever becomes a thing and they innevitably wanna play our games?

Also, and I am sorry if you have mentioned this in another video, but is an update for Hrothgar in the works now that females are out? If so, I assume that it (and fairly so) is on low priority for now?
