From the moment they showed off that FFIV was going to be one of the primary themes/references for EW I was desperately hoping I'd get to hear FFXIV's rendition of this song. From the moment they revealed Golbez and his Four Fiends I knew it was only a matter of time before I'd get to hear FFXIV's rendition of this song. The moment I did the Trial and this song started playing my pants exploded off my body.
In terms of antagonists making cameos, we got FF1, FF3, FF4, FF5, FF6, FF8 (with Gaia being not-Ultimicia), and FF9 if you count Hades. FF2's emperor will probably be the final boss of Pandemonium from all the hell terminology, so all that's missing from the pre-FF10 games is a Sephiroth reference (unless that was Zeno's job in Stormblood).
Love the backing track! Lends it some much needed weight. Wish this was in 3D remake.
