AAAAAAAAA I missed this stream xD
I meant to tune in but someone close to me was starting their very first stream too and I had to tune into that lol
I'll have to watch the VOD when I'm more awake!
I had to sleep, even knowing Emet scene was coming. Was fun seeing the reaction. π
I can't believe it's 2022, and they still haven't fixed her audio for the first time the cutscene plays. The intro to Titania is voiced, but for whatever reason the very first time it doesn't play…
The Shadowbringers trailer is literally the most non-spoilery trailer ever. It shows you things but gives you no context into those things. Holding off 'til Rak'tika is a choice, but 100% not necessary. And I think its a bit presumptive to say that it's more enjoyable to watch it at Rak'tika than before diving into ShB if you didn't watch it earlier. But, all in all, a great video!
Ended up missing this stream because Elira was streaming Xenoblade 3 at the same time, HECC
I dunno I'm gonna disagree on waiting till that point in the story to watch the trailer. The trailer's intent is constantly make you go "wait, what?" at every major beat. "Where are we that has the sky like this?", "Why is Thancred a Gunbreaker?", "Who is this little girl he's dragging around and why is her name Minfillia?", "Why did Uriange call who is clearly Y'stola, 'Master Matoya'?" , "What does the Crystal Tower have to do with this story and why is there a city around it?", "Why did the Hooded man talk about unwriting history?" and "Why did the sky split to reveal a night sky?". Β
The point was to get the mind racing with questions with a lot of scenes with no context and build anticipation to play and get answers to said questions.
